What a great team at Specsavers in Lincoln. I've been proper apprehensive and eventually giving into the fact I'm getting older and need glasses! Paul, Russ & Asiya were absolutely awesome! Guided me right through all my eye tests, to helping me choose the right specs for me. Highly recommended and Thank you again.

Although the eye tests went fantastic, I was somewhat limited by the glasses which I received.. The staff had previously advised me that I was “cranially enhanced” (big head) but they found (safety) glasses frames which were the correct size. Unfortunately, it was not possible to get the prescription lens’s to fit the correct frames, so the smaller frames were supplied and “bent to suit”. I would have no difficulty getting normal glasses, but I have to wear Safety Glasses at work.

I was seen within minutes of arrival, I was referred onto my G P and another institution, all this happened quickly. The optician explained clearly what needed to happen. Very helpful.

Some years ago, I followed Dave Whitham from his previous employers when he moved to Specsavers. The reason was that he got me seeing better than I had ever done. Dave is a contact lens expert and being a professional sportsman I needed to be able to see well. Having recently moved, the trip to see Dave takes about two and a half hours. But I happily made that journey last week and will continue to do so. You couldn’t meet a more friendly, professional guy. If anyone out there is thinking about contacts then do go and see Dave, you won’t be disappointed and you will not get better service. John Powell

I need an urgent appointment as i have just had eye surgery at Grimsby. I need to book my post operation eye test please. I have 1 good eye and one not so good. I can not go back to the eye clinic until i have had my post operative eye test. They gave me 2x eye drops for 8 weeks. So when do i come for the test please, are you allowed to book me in, yet for my post op.

Good service. Takes good care of you especially if you are on the Lensmail scheme with free/discounted designer frames, free eye tests and contact lens checkups included. Lots of options to choose from. Staff are very friendly and take good care of you down to the minutest detail. Smaller space in comparison with other Specsavers branches but excellent service.

Had a good check up on my eyes, and I will be going back to them for another examination on both eyes on third Monday of January 19 for a different type of test, where I have some drops in them to dilate the pupils as wide as they can go so that he can get a good look at the retinas of both eyes
