A.After attending all the big named High Street opticians and being disappointed with their quality of service and / or lack of choice in frames, what a delight to meet Mr Glen. The shop is pristine and spacious with a fantastic range to choose from. No hard sell just great advice and service, also when asked if he could assist me in disposing of multiple pairs of old glasses, he informed me supports a charity who re-issue them. Delighted with my new glasses, sunglasses, cleaning cloths and bottle of lens cleaning spray (with the benefit of ongoing free refills). All of the above combined with the convenience of shopping local.

They are great, friendly service, explained everything, didn’t rush, made sure my daughter was informed with everything they did on the test, will use them as our regular options going forward
T. H.Mr. Glenn was extremely thorough, my eye test was the most rigorous I have ever had. I chose varifocals with a designer frame and thin, light sensitive lenses. I also ordered a free set of lenses for use when working on a computer. They were not cheap but quality costs.
P. L.I am updating my review from 7 months ago to reflect my heartfelt thanks to Mr Glenn for potentially saving my grandaughter’s sight and even significant and life changing brain damage. He identified a serious issue when conducting a routine eye test and made an urgent appointment for Ophthalmology at Alderhey. They acted quickly, performed an MRI and lumbar puncture and she is now recovering under their care. We will be forever grateful to Mr Glenn for his prompt professional response.
My family and I (eight of us in total, ranging from 13 to 70+) have been customers at Glenn’s for several years. I couldn’t count the number of tests and pairs of specs we have had. Not once have we had occasion to doubt the prescription, to raise any problems or issues. Mr Glenn and his team are helpful, friendly and professional. They offer a huge range of specs with prices ranging from budget to designer.
There have been times when we have been told a new prescription is not necessary, other occasions when the advice was that a lower price frame suited rather than the more costly option.
In short we get a service we can trust.

C.As a family we have been using Glenn's Opticians for a number of years, the staff are very friendly and helpfull, this week my eldest son went for his eye test, and thank's to Mr Glenn's up to date equipment and his knowledge he detected very high pressure with glaucoma, which we never knew he had, so we were sent straight to the hospital, were they got the pressure down, and they then used the laser to relieve the pressure, so thank's to Mr Glenn he has caught this problem in time, So a huge thank you to Mr Glenn.

Beforehand, he was complaining of headaches and difficulty reading black text on a white background. His new glasses have fixed this completely and the difference in hearing him read aloud with and without the glasses is a revelation. We’re extremely pleased and cannot recommend Glenns Opticians highly enough.
