It was my first time at specsavers yesterday. And all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Made me feel at ease, can not fault anything. And they have a great selection of glasses to choose from.

The staff were really helpful here. I got a thorough eye test that the optician explained as he went along. The staff downstairs were amazing with helping me choose the right specs for my weirdly shaped head and close together pig eyes. Couldn't be happier.

I'd had a bad experience in a store by the same company, however on reaching out to this store they were happy to do a problem solve. Becca was patient and asked lots of questions to find the problem then agreed I needed a new test. It had been 3 months since my test at the other store. I was booked in. On returning I did not have to wait long, a pretest was taken out then I saw a lovely lady called jen. She tested my eyes thoroughly and told me the reason I had a problem and agreed the lenses were not suitable. A lovely guy called Jordan made sure I got up and down the stairs safely. I picked up my glasses today and saw becca again and she appeared happy for me that the problem solve was worth it. I can't recommend this store highly enough. Every staff member I encountered was amazing and I look forward to being cared for at this store in the future. No other word than amazing, oh! And thank you! 😃j

A really positive experience. I was so impressed with the customer service I received. The whole store had a great atmosphere but I specifically want to thank Veronica and Katie. They both were super friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to collecting my new glasses :D

Went for an eye test. They are still following covid guidelines so the equipment is cleaned before each test. The staff are all friendly and helpful as always. You can still try frames on as they are cleaned after you try them on and realise that you look like a 1950's librarian.

Ran in there yesterday panicking with symptoms of a detached retina apparently. A lovely girl called Sophie took my details and advised i go straight to St Paul’s eye hospital. The hospital said it was a good thing i did. Sophie was very calming and had a caring attitude. Thank you so much xxxx

Really great and comfortable experience. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the lovely lady who helped me pick my new glasses, Sophie. She even remembered me from three years ago from when I moved to Liverpool! Her customer service was wonderful, as well as her attention to detail when picking glasses for me, she really listened to what style I was going for. I was in Liverpool on business for the day and one of my lenses came out. I was looking for an opticians to get my glasses repaired. I first found Blankstone around the corner who, tbh were pretty rude and wouldn't help. I then found this Specsavers. One of the ladies working there took them and fixed them in 5 minutes. I offered to pay but she wouldn't accept anything. Blankstone could learn a lot about customer service from the staff here.

Just BRILLIANT service! Karen and the team at Specsavers on Lord St are brilliant! I think most Specsavers have very good service but this store takes customer experience to the highest level! I recently went in to get a new pair of both reading and sunglasses, confident I knew what frames I would like. Karen assisted me, dashed off around the frames and came back in minutes with three frames to choose from... I looked at them skeptically... None were what I would.have chosen. my daughter was clearly thinking the same... Until I put them on a realised I was in the hands of a truly gifted glasses chooser! All were brilliant. Thank you to everyone there for helping me out and for exceptional service! Wonderful 🙏🙏🙏

Had a routine eye test there - that was done nicely by staff and had no problems there. However, they noticed swelling behind my eyes and played it very casually - said the hospital will be touch but that was it. Didn't tell me any more, didn't give me a referral or anything so I went about my day as normal. Flash forward four hours and I'm rushing to A&E after being demanded to go in. Staff at Specsavers should know more about when this happens and tell customers full information. I was kept in the dark.

There is only two members of staff in this branch that I feel comfortable dealing with. Due to the fact they make me feel at ease and are really very friendly. However I feel that the rest of the staff can be quite rude and want you out the shop quick as possible

Had to get a replacement hearing aid for my 92 year old Mum in Law who lost hers, she has limited mobility & can only hear with one ear with use of her hearing aid. The staff where extremely helpful rushing one to Liverpool Street within a couple of days. Emma in particular went above & beyond. Thanks to you Mum in Law can now hear & has her spark back. Emma is an absolute asset to the store. Thankyou so much.

Specsavers offers a very fast and efficient service to customers. They offer eye tests and glasses fitments. They have a very good selection of glasses frames and lenses options, the prices for glasses is very reasonable. They also offer audiology assessments and fit hearing aids.

My wife called in today on my behalf to see what could be done about my glasses that I had broken and maybe be repaired urgently. The young lady she spoke to was a credit to Specsavers who went out of her way to ensure that my glasses would be sorted immediately, this was very important to me as I have to go into Hospital on Monday and needed them urgently. Fantastic customer service! I had an issue with a "new-ish" pair of prescription sunglasses, I went into the Lord St branch of Specsavers and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, resolving the issue for me, an within a few days I was back in the store with my "sunnies" sorted :) Thanks to all!!

Great service friendly staff easy access for disabled people and there is a lift but ask staff to get access to it, there is no toilets for general public but there is plenty of food restaurants and coffee shops about that you don't need to worry about it

The best thing about Specsavers are the eye screening machines they have when they look at your vision. The downside is the lack of variety of glasses frames they have. I have also noticed the contact lenses are cheaper when you buy them on their website rather than in-store. I mostly purchase their contact lenses on their website.
