W. K.I had the BEST experience at Ace & Tate. I’ve been a fairly regular customer over the last 3 years or so, but this time was exceptional!
My dog chewed the arms and frame of my 6 month old specs, and my wife’s, beyond repair. We brought them in to see if we could get them sorted.
Gabby helped us and did a superb job repairing my wife’s glasses but mine were goners. I ended up having to buy a new pair but the whole process was made easier and smooth thanks to Gabby’s swift and friendly service. She even threw in a cleaning kit and tote bag free of charge! Thanks Ace & Tate, and thanks Gabby!

S. K.Really helpful and friendly staff. I have an issue with my eyes and the eye test was extremely thorough, compares to what I would have done in the hospital. I cannot fault the opticians - Hand down the best eye test on the high street. I was anxious about trying on glasses but you had your own box to put any glasses youve worn, which were then sanitised afterwards. All the iPads, paypoints were also sanitised. picked up my glasses same day so just one trip and they were fitted with care. All staff wore masks as I did I. I felt very safe!Thank you - love my new frames

I was served at various times by Maria, Marcus, and Hannah. Hannah was outstanding and very patient helping me find the right style and fit, her customer service and knowledge are unquestionable. The free eye test done by Zamina was very meticulous, she took time to explain everything bit by bit. I was allowed to try as many pair of glasses as I wanted to, the staff sanitise all the glasses after customers try them on. Highly recommend Ace and Tate.

Purchasing frames is a decision that takes time, as you want to love the frames you wear since you'll be wearing them often! The staff member seemed to only care about the sale. Rating 3 because the optometrist and 2 other female staff members were friendly and helpful.

G. H.I can highly recommend Ace & Tate in Shoreditch. We attended an online-booked appointment yesterday for my partner who is wheelchair bound. The optician was incredibly understanding and professional in respect to my partner's disability, and managed to conduct most of the tests with her in the wheelchair. There also seemed to be good hygeine measures in place for anyone worried about Covid. The prescription was perfect and has made such a difference.

Two lovely girls helped me settle on frame shape and arranging lens and frames was simple and straightforward. Shop is very bright and absolutely boiling though!
