C. G.I have been seen my Professor Barnard here for a number of years and always had a good experience. He is very knowledgeable and excellent for rare eye diseases and prescriptions.
Their lens services are amazing and offer many options other places do not. The glasses variety is really good and the staff always helpful and friendly.
I will say it is very expensive but you get what you pay for, the service is unmatched.

D. S.My 3 year old daughter had an ingrown eyelash in her upper lid which was causing her discomfort. I was luckily able to get an appointment on the same day I called as there had been a cancellation and Prof. Simon Barnard was able to remove the eyelash keeping my toddler calm and reassured. I am very grateful! All the staff are very friendly and sweet with children.
D. M.I'd all but given up on trying to correct my vision but booked an appointment with Prof. Barnard as a last resort. After booking an Orthoptic appointment he diagnosed and explained the issue of 'binocular lock' providing me with exercises to help improve my eyes convergence and my 3D vision. I have been working with him over the last 4 years to reduce the prism in my prescription and we are very nearly there. No other optometrist had identified the cause of my deteriorating eye sight, choosing only to tackle the symptom of the condition through increased prescriptions. It was a huge relief to understand why my vision was deteriorating, and to know there was something I could do about it. I can honestly say my quality of life has been significantly improved and I am hugely thankful to Prof. Barnard for his intervention and understanding in this field.

I have the upmost confidence in all the staff their & commend them for their work & friendly customer focus.The thoroughness of the eye test is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
I would not hesitate in any circumstance to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this optometrist to anyone.

R. B.I saw Professor Barnard. He spent over an hour giving me various eye tests explaining everything as he went. Further tests carried out by the clinic manager, Dinah, on a number of high-tech machines, again with full explanations. Established what prescription I needed and then Phillipa and Dinah helped me to choose frames. Glasses were ready within a week and Phillipa spent time adjusting them to make sure they were perfect. They couldn't be more thorough and helpful. Highly recommend this practice.
M. K.I highly recommend Dr. Barnard and his team. I suffered for years from a mix of symptoms whenever I read, such as blurred and shadowed vision, pain in my eyes and eye strain. This had a significant impact on my ability to concentrate which obviously caused a lot of frustration over the years. I visited several eye doctors in my home country (Estonia), in Germany and in the UK. None of them was able to diagnose my condition and I was even told that I probably imagine that I have trouble reading. Dr. Barnard was the first eye doctor who took my concern seriously. He conducted a thorough examination on my eyes and came to the conclusion that I had a weak eye muscle. As a result, he prescribed me prism lenses which have significantly helped me and improved the quality of my life. Utterly grateful to Mr. Barnard and all the lovely people I met at his office.
N. G.I have always found the opticians there, whether dealing with me, or my children to be helpful and patient. When my oldest child wanted to transition from glasses to contact lenses but was finding it difficult to cope with the contact lenses, the staff could not have been more supportive. The receptionist and the staff who fit glasses are also always accommodating and helpful too.

A. &. D.Really thorough eye exam, they checked the health of the eye and due to family history of glaucoma did a number of tests to make sure I was safe. Highly recommended to anyone who cares about their eyes!
B. D.Outstanding treatment, when it's needed. Mr. Levit provided a full assessment and analysis of the cause of my son's blepharitis and dry eyes. This service was not provided at a visit to Moorfields and, for the first time and after much pain, we now understand the cause of blepharitis and dry eyes. Glands were unblocked and a state-of-the-art machine was used to measure the quality of tears, their composition and gland function. Exercises and supplements to cure the condition were prescribed .
A most valuable experience and excellent communication of the causes and treatments.
