I have been going to this opticians for many years and would highly recommend it to others. I have always received high quality professional care and guidance by a knowledgeable, skilled and friendly optician (Margot) and a warm welcome by the front-of-house staff.

Excellent opticians and range of eyewear. I moved from my optician in Holborn and am very happy. A premium service and high quality range. Probably not your alternative to a budget 2 for 1 at Specsavers or cheap frames, online. Though, if you want a high level of care and branded eyewear, you're at the right place.

Great service her as always. I had a bad experience at Vision Express Stratford, this place was the complete opposite. You have to pay more bit it is worth the money, it ia your eyes after all.

I found E Aves Opticians excellent. The optometrist was knowledgeable and took time to give a extensive eye exam including a digital photo. They even replaced my lenses saving me from having to buy new frames. The after care to make sure that you are happy with the glasses is excellent and all the staff are friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this opticians.

I cannot recommend Aves opticians highly enough. Myself and my husband and children all use them and they are always helpful, friendly and accommodating. I myself transferred from a well known high street chain of opticians to Aves several years ago, and think that they offer a much more professional and efficient service than my previous opticians, and not necessarily at a higher cost. If you want to know your eyesight is in good hands, Aves are the right people to visit.

I’ve been coming to E Aves since I’ve been a small boy, maybe 10 - I am 31 now. I don’t live in South Woodford anymore, but not too far in Hackney, and I’m always happy to come back. If I'm in dire straits and run out of contact lenses while waiting for a contact lenses check-up - they don’t hesitate to offer me some to carry me through (I hate wearing glasses). Great service provided through the years; thanks!

Brilliant local, independent opticians - the front-of-house staff are friendly, helpful and engaging and the opticians always make you feel like they have time for you; they aren't rushing you in and out. There's a great range of specs and sunglasses. Highly recommend.
