So I finally took the plunge and ordered a gorgeous pair of glasses from Chatoo. Again their service was second to none and they answered all my questions with the care, deligence and expert knowledge I want from an opticians. I'll be going back next year to get another pair of glasses! Previous post: The service at Chatoo is some of the best I have ever had at an opticians! Both my wife and I are extremely picky about our glasses, so we really appreciate the care and consideration the staff give us. They are knowledgeable, friendly and not at all pushy. I've been in several times to try on different frames and make the right choice, and not once have they tried to force me to buy something just to make a sale. I'm on the verge of buying a pair of glasses, not only because of the stellar customer service, but also because I know that they will look after me even after the sale.

I most certainly plan to return - the team were incredibly friendly and there was a definite family vibe. The examination was conducted professionally, accurately and with a tacit determination to improve my sight - they tenaciously pursued an anomaly in my eyesight and were able to identify a possible medical condition and propose a measure to significantly improve my vision in addition to making a large correction to what I thought my prescription was. Throughout this, I was given lots of fantastic advice that I will be sure to follow, both for my continued good optical health and for the frame style (yes, I needed it). I'm confident that the frames that I ordered will suit me fantastically and profusely thank the team for their hard work and geniality!

I love this shop! Lots of great glasses and the girls that work there cool. They are really friendly and trustworthy. They have been brilliant in helping me find exactly what I want and always give great advice. The place has a lovely family feel to it and I am always made to feel welcome. And my God children are continuously asking to go back there for an eye test because they had such fun!

For a couple of days my left eye had been very sore and I was passing by Chatoo's and and I thought they could take a look at my eye. I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. I told them about my issue and they immediately put me in front of their optometrist and she started to carry out my eye test where she discovered a small piece of metal in my eye. I was told to goto Moorfields eye hospital where they removed the shard of metal. I then re-booked to finish off my eye-test (at no extra cost). Thankfully my eye-sight did not require glasses but I was so impressed with their service that I bought a pair of sunglasses. I gathered that this was a long standing family business and you could tell by their professional and attentive service.

I can't praise Chatoo enough. The least I can do is take time to write the most deserved review. It was a truly satisfying experience.
