This Optician is simply the best I have gone to, and I have gone to many in three countries. Mr. Chatoo and his wife (Mrs. Chatoo performed the best eye test I have ever had) provided me with wonderful new glasses when I had lost mine and they did it all very quickly to the highest standards. I was very pleased with the entire experience and feel lucky to have discovered this wonderful place. I would highly recommend them to anyone, I am certain there is no better optician anywhere.

Chatoos is fantastic, we have been going there for around 6 years and we have always been treated with the best professional care. I have always received a perfect pair of glasses from Chatoo's, thanks to Chatoo I have been able to confidently put on my glasses or contacts every morning. My favourite memory from the 6-7 years I have been going to Chatoo's was the day I was taught how to make my own glasses, I am wearing these glasses now and they are great! I highly recommend visiting Chatoo's if you are interested in receiving the best optical care in London.

A very professional practice. Family owned and run to very high standard. The eye test itself was very well conducted and fully explained at every stage. I have been going to Chatoo Opticians for over 25 years although it is over an hour for me to get there. The staff are friendly and all the opticians in the practice are extremely thorough, patient and informative. They explain what they are doing and offer sound advice. I have complex lenses and it is reassuring to find people who understand my needs. The prices are reasonable and there is an extensive choice of frames. There is never pressure to go for the most expensive option and care is taken to ensure a good fit for my glasses and contact lenses. Having worn glasses for over 50 years I have tried a number of opticians and opthalmogists including chains. I trust them to look after my eyes and I highly recommend both the Knightsbridge and Kensington branch.

This is, without a doubt, the best opticians in London ! It is run by a charming couple- a husband and wife team who go out of their way to give the best service with a smile. Their advice is honest and tailored according to your needs. Their beautiful shop in Knightsbridge also offers a delightful shopping experience, with an extremely vast array of glasses, and Mr Chatoo and his staff are passionate about finding you the perfect pair of glasses, and more than willing to spend time suggesting different frames and offering their opinions. And make sure you do ask for Mrs Chatoo for your eye test- she is the best ! It is a shame there aren't many opticians like these in London. Professional. Value for Money. Great Choice. But most of all the most charming couple in the eye industry !

Having looked all over Europe for a special frame with integrated darker sun protection lenses I remembered Mr Chatoo had supplied me with fantastic frames and lenses back in 1998 when I was studying in London, so I popped in and he had exactly what I was looking for, high quality frames coupled with cutting-edge technology lenses.
