From the moment I stepped through the front door my whole first experience with Cubitts was incredibly positive. Everyone was really helpful with me in choosing frames and making great alternative suggestions. The eye test was very thorough and incredibly professional. Two weeks later I had my two new pairs of glasses and couldn’t be happier. Will definitely be back.

I love this shop. Last year I bought one of my favourite pairs of sunglasses from Cubitts, I loved the style so much I also bought them in blue. I've worn my sunglasses a lot and cubitts offer a free service where you can bring in your cubitts glasses and have them repaired which is a nice extra peak. The staff are also really helpful and friendly in this store. - Highly recommend.

This is a small review. We came, We saw, We Bought. It was a bit of an impulse purchase. We were killing time near the market and saw the store. I told my wife to take a look. These would be the styles to show up in our part of the country in a year, or two. The wife liked the styles. We did some looking, and in a few minutes we had frames to take with us. These were not something we were going to be able to get in the States. We will get her prescription updated at home and lenses made. The young lady who helped us could not have been be nicer. She made sure the frames were the correct size for my wife's head, and that they fit properly. We are happy.

Their eye test service is fantastic. Very thorough, responsive (I needed further tests so brought me in another day (cost-free) and sorted out a specialist referral). Also extremely friendly and helpful on the retail front. Oh yeah, their glasses are amazing too. Just an all-round amazing experience.

Starting wearing glasses just recently & not tried on a pair that I thought suited me until I was recommended to Cubitts, I bought my 1st pair for reading only but after just 1 week realised I should have bought bifocals. I returned without an appointment was seen straightaway & sized up for a new pair.... to my surprise I was refunded 75% on my recent pair & was told my new bifocals would be ready in 10 days... 5 days on they arrived & after a brief chat about what to expect off I went one happy customer. Excellent eye exam and customer service! Incredibly professional, welcoming, and understanding. I scheduled one of the first eye exams after their lockdown closure, as I had noticed a change in my prescription. I was sent an email confirmation and text reminder of my appointment before hand. When I arrived, the optometrist, Priya, was very friendly and sanitised everything before I went down to the office. As I was wearing a mask, some of the equipment steamed up, but Priya was very patient and friendly. Once she’d checked my prescription and the health of my eyes we finished-up upstairs. There was no pressure to purchase anything, and both ladies were friendly and informative. About half an hour after I left I got two follow-up emails with my prescription and the pictures of my eyes. Simple, efficient, and friendly! I won’t go anywhere else.

Popped in one Saturday on for a inquisitive browse. After chatting to a very helpful shop assistant, I mentioned I'd thought about getting my eyes tested and considered new specs as I really liked several of their horn frames. Checking the diary, they had an available eye test. An hour later, after a very helpful and comfortable eye test, I left the shop the owner of a brand new pair of lovely specs! I do act impulsively, but throughout the shopping experience never felt pushed or sold something I didn't want. It helped that the cost of the eye test, frames and lenses were all such an amazing price. I left the shop raving about it to my friends and excited about collecting the specs the following week!

I have nothing but praise for this establishment! The interior is beautiful, despite it being a small shop it feels very cosy and warm and smells lovely - the diffuser is a certainly a nice little touch. The team there were very welcoming and acknowledged me as soon as I arrived. I had booked an eye test and it was very thorough and Jasmine even took the time to explain what she was doing and what they look for in photos of the eye. Following my eye test - Mhara then helped me to choose a frame that would suit my face. I explained what I liked and disliked and she was extremely helpful in finding me the right frame for me. When I went to collect the glasses - I was impressed by how much time and patience the team had to ensure that they were perfect and comfortable for me. Overall I would say - if you're looking for new glasses - Cubitts is definitely the place to go to! Their frames are beautiful and the team at Spitalfields are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

I love this place. I was recommended Cubitts by one of my friends that works within their Accounts department. The service is impeccable. SpecSavers doesn't even come close. As soon as you walk in the service is first class, you get greeted immediately, the selection of spec's you can try is great. The staff assist with frames and try to advise which would suit the shape of your face, and if the color doesn't suit, they offer a variety of prints that would suit the coloring of your face / hair. I had an eye test, where they did thorough checks and even took photographs of my eyes, these are on record and have even been sent to me along with my prescription. I would highly recommend friends / family / colleagues and anyone reading up on Cubitts - Opticians can be painful but this place is relaxing and enjoyable!! Highly recommend

Although my original prescription was not quite right my frames were changed free of charge after 8 months when it was realised the original pair were too big for my face and were causing too much abrasions. I also got a free eye test to make sure the second pair were better. I'm loving my new frames!

Just the greatest customer service ever. I came there for an eye check after a dodgy experience with some high street optician - here at Cubitts the examination seemed much more professional, they also considered my light sensitivity so my specs have a custom tint. What I find amazing is that (as my prescription is quite weak) the optometrist said "it's up to you if you want to wear glasses" - instead of pushing me to purchase them, which happened at the aforementioned store. But honestly, the frames here are so beautiful and classy that i would like to wear them all. There was some issue with the tint while the specs were being prepared - the communication between me, the shop and the lab was great, especially as the website has a chat function and I got a response to my enquiry in literally 5 minutes. The staff at the store itself was friendly and helpful, they just know what they are doing. The company has a vibe of being both modern and based on traditional craft. Oh, and Cubitts' Instagram is just a pleasure to scroll through. Amazing!

I've never thought that getting an eye test and buying a pair of glasses would have been such an experience, but guess what! First of all, the staff is amazing. Really. Mhara and her colleagues are super friendly, they helped me -and my indecisive mind- picking a pair of glasses, and I had a lot of fun. You can really see the professionality behind the friendliness. Not only Mhara helped me with my choice, but she also explained my prescription and what it meant in terms of lenses. Plus, she made sure that I actually needed what I was buying (like the blue filter for the lenses). Moreover, the eye test was extremely accurate, and Jasmine was super professional. She explained every step of the test, and she even explained the visual pathway and described the structure of my own eyes when I asked her. Never seen such a great customer service. Friendly, fun and fast. 10/10 recommended!

From start to finish I had a brilliant experience with Cubitt. I ordered 4 pairs of specs on home delivery which is a brilliant concept in itself, I was then given a really consultative experience upon entering the store by 3 separate sales assistants who really spent time explaining why certain frames would suit me, what looked good and most importantly what didn’t work. I really appreciate that kind of approach. I highly recommend going with cubitt if you’re looking for your next pair of specs, not to mention the styles are just divine!!
