Dr Kim also listens intently, and provides information in simple and informative ways. I have been to a lot of opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists in my life, and Dr Kim definitely is up near the very top. Highly recommended.

A. N.I have been going to Doctor Lim for over 30 years and he is a consummate professional in every way - as are his staff. You can trust them implicitly to give you the best advice without trying to sell you anything you don't want. You'll get great care and after-care. I can't recommend this place too highly - and that a very pleasing thing to say when High Streets are under such pressure from other cheap and nasty chains.

G. D.I started seeing Dr. Lim 30 years ago when he was based in Covent Garden. Despite now living in Kent I travel miles to see him because he is so good. He provides a high quality service but most of all he is an excellent optician and eye specialist. I agree with the other reviewer that he really cares about his patients, he is diligent and very good at what he does. He takes the time to explain problems, if any, in a clear and concise way. I too, would give him 10 stars if I could. He is a star!
N. U.Dr Lim is hands down the best optician you will find. He is incredibly thorough, diligent and caring and knows exactly what he is doing. He is a local legend in the spectacle wearing community. He explains everything very clearly and understandably and always gives you as much time as you want. Nothing is ever hurried. He is incredibly calm and inspires complete confidence. He will never try and sell you a pair of glasses if you don't need them unlike some of the more well known high street chains. I cannot recommend him highly enough and would never go to anyone else to look after mine or my family's eyes.
He is also one of the nicest, kindest people you will ever meet. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

K. G.Dr. Lim saved my eyesight. I went to him after having been to a different optician thinking my glasses weren't quite right and being told that they were the correct lenses. By contrast Dr. Lim recognised that I had a serious eye condition and asked me to go Moorfield's eye hospital emergency and effectively saved my eye sight. Cannot recommend him enough.
J. D.I went here after using Specsavers around the corner for about 20 years. My eyesight had been getting progressively worse. I assumed it was just old age but after going to Dr Lim I realised what was actually getting worse was the quality of the eye tests (and consequently my prescription) I had been receiving. Dr Lim took far longer and was much more patient and as a result I now see better than at any time since I was a teenager.

money in my pocket and instead took my
prescription and NHS vouchers to Lim and received a friendly, efficient, no pressure service which met MY needs - not those of commission-hungry sales staff. Very pleased.
