Very welcoming practice and the staff are nice and friendly. Special thank to the doctor how cares for my children and looks after their eyes. Since I am going their my child started to wear his glasses 👓 regularly. Recommend to everyone. (Children friendly optician)

Thatcher has helped me in a very professional way, she is very well mannered, very nice and I felt talking to an old friend of mine since I met her. In 7 days I had my glasses done, fell in love with an Hugo Boss frame and quality amazingly matches the price! Thanks also to Nadia (hope I’ve got the right way to write the Dr.’s name) as she has been very very sweet, courteous and very professional as well. She really took care of my eyesight visit and recommended me the best way to assist me. I will definitely come back, no doubt at all, as their professionalism and manners are just what I was looking for. Great experience. Lost a screw from my glasses last thing at night. Rang these guys in the morning and they said come in in an hour. They replaced the screw in a few minutes. Staff are very friendly and polite, and a minimum of fuss even with current regulations.

Excellent staff who made me feel very welcome even while my special need son wasn't in the most able of moods. Tests were done excellently and very honestly with no drive to push as much money out of me as possible, which made me feel so comfortable. They had a great choice of glasses for children and adults. I was impressed at the care and attention given . I recieved helpful reminders of appointments via text and a confirmation the glasses were ready to collect just a short wait later. It's all too easy to visit chain store options like Boots etc but it's really important we support our high street and I for one think this opticians is a huge benefit to Roman road. Visiting here actually gave me the chance to look arouns the Roman again after quite some time being too 'busy' and the area has really improved with some amazing small businesses opening! I would highly recommend this business!

I’ve bought two pairs of glasses from the Eye Emporium. Really pleased with them: 1+ years in and they’re still doing what they should and I’m thinking of buying one of the pairs again I like them so much. More importantly though... the eye tests are extremely thorough. I came here after a very poor experience at a high street chain. Felt so reassured that the rest of my family have now started coming here too. On a routine eye test for my son they picked up a tiny potential anomaly and referred us on for specialist tests. I’m really grateful to them for the attention to detail and quality of care. Lastly... friendly and great customer service. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed by the service at the Roman Road branch. My time was limited as I was in London only 4 weeks. The spectacles were delivered well within the time frame given, then when I changed my mind about having tinted lenses, there was no quibble and the second set were delivered rapidly, again within the time I had available. Very convenient local optical for the those who do not like going to big shopping centre. You will be welcome by Farooq who will help you choosing glasses who really suit you. Qasim, in charge of eye test, will explain you everything he is checking. Both are professional with a good level of customer service. I ordered eye glasses and sunglasses, which I got in 1 week. I will definitely go back if I am still living in the area.

Ive been going there for years now they never dissapoint me with the service, always keeping me up to date with my eye test, cleaning my glass on each visit, very friendly. Having lost my glasses I went for the first time to the Eye Emporium located Roman Road to make new ones, immediately the staff showed kind and helpful. There were Qasim and Farooq. I managed to find my perfect frame! Without glasses I don’t see anything out of focus, so the staff offered me to use a pair of glasses while the other was finished. Without this option I could not work or write this review for the specified time! I’m so happy to have met this place with good staff! Highly recommended!

I haven't had the best experience with this franchise this year. I have been going to them for a while now and I've never had a problem however this year the man at the reception has caused me alot of issues. I had my glasses misplaced on his watch and instead of calling me up and telling me about it, he tried to give me a pair that look nothing like my original pair and wasn't going to inform me on it. Instead the lady at the desk who i think is called Farhana said she would deal with it and informed on the very same day that the original pair had been lost but she could order me another pair that looked the same as my original for free and so i thanked her and accepted her offer. A few months later i had my annual check up and my lenses needed to be changed and so i gave my glasses to be changed. Usually i get a phone call saying that my glasses are ready within a week but two weeks had gone and I hadn't recieved my glasses so I called in and the man receptionist said that he had broken my glasses and i had to come in and choose a new one. I went into the shop and the lovely Farhana helped me and I explained to her what had happened and she was so lovely and considerate and helped me and i left the shop with a smile on my face. 4 weeks after my checkup i went to go and collect my glasses and the receptionist man didn't give me my glasses and i stormed out of the shop. Throughout this whole drama the one person who actually did something about it was Farhana. She helped me on multiple occasions and gave me answers when no one else would. I think she's is an absolute star and something should be done about the man who lost, broke and refused to give me my glasses

Today marks 8/03/2022 - 10AM, I Just came back from a check up for the first time from Emporium optician Roman road. I can tell you for a fact the service was amazing! I was greeted as I entered and I felt comfortable all the way through. Ive ordered a pair of glasses , I had no Idea I even needed them haha. The black women at the reception was so lovely also the hijabi women who checked my eyes were fantastic at doing her job and also was very lovely. Everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend for you to book an appointment there. — Sorry I forgot to ask the staff for there names and would've stated it here so please don’t mind ;)
