Great experience with friendly staff. Got an eye test, with feedback that was very easy to understand. Following this, had to pick some frames & proceeded to take an hour, trying on a number of pairs. This was received with patience & welcome feed back. Would definitely go back again!

In FINLEY I found an extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, customer centred staff. Each of the staff members have shown extreme patience and kindness in their interactions with me. Both Mai and Shalini didn't hesitate a second in explaining to me the science of the eyes in simple terms, which reflected their great passion, knowledge and competence in what they do and made me feel more in love, in awe and mesmerised with God's creation and a little more knowledgable of how our eyes function. I would recommend it very much!

Purchased a couple of pairs of sunglasses online as I was unsure which style I had tried on in store. Delivery was free quick and the items were packaged well. I returned one pair and the returns was stress free and my refund was received faster than any other company I have dealt with - very pleased. Most importantly the nicest sunglasses ever.

An absolute delight! The optometrist was very considerate and explained everything clearly and very calmly. The rest of the staff were very friendly, and really took their time in helping me choose my glasses. I have felt always welcome walking in there, and never intimidated. Love my glasses, which come in a very practical case.

Nabihah who did the sight was really good and made time to go through any questions I had. And Darren was also really helpful! Emily was also really kool helping choose the right pair of Specs! Great team!

I was so impressed by my experience at Finlay that I decided to leave my first ever review! I was seen by the optometrist Mai who was incredible. She was really friendly, took the time to explain everything thoroughly and I was also emailed the photos taken of my retinas during the examination! A lovely girl called Steph helped me choose my frames (which was a struggle because I fell in love with at least 6 pairs) and Darran who was an absolute star helped fit my frames. I got recommended Finlay from a person I met in a hospital. I always used Boot or specsaver in the last 20 years of wearing glasses. Now won't be going back. From the minute I arrived at the very sleek shop in Soho I was given a Amazing service!! There Opticians who did my eye test was so profesional and explained every thing so well. Not rushed and gave time to ask questions. I picked 2 pairs of glasses in the finlay range I now have them a few week. The Quality is exceptional beautiful choices and very well made not flimsy. Would i return and recommend . I since been asked where I got my glasses on many occasions since getting them.

Fantastic service from start to Finish . I stumbled upon Finaly Soho after being disappointed with the shopping experience at vision express on the Oxford street. The store manager Darren and his team made the whole experience a dream. Great range of glasses and good value. Same day eye test with the fun and insightful optometrist . I had to get my eyes tested during COVID and was most impressed by the professionalism and good-nature of the staff. My optemetrist, Mai, probably gave me the best eye test I've ever had, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I plan to make Finlay Soho my regular glasses place.

Firstly, the glasses themselves. Finlay & Co have an amazing range, with various styles to suit anyone. They were really helpful too, tell the staff what you like and don’t like about certain pairs, and they’ll do their best to find a solution for you (I really liked a pair that were slightly too narrow for me, so they recommended using the sunglasses version of the same design - which were slightly wider - and having them fitted with normal lenses). Secondly, and this is what really sets them apart in my eyes (and what compelled me to write this review), is their customer service. This is a company that truly cares! There was a problem with a second pair of glasses that I ordered from them. When I raised this with Finlay, they were quick to make amends, with Gordon their Soho store manager personally overseeing the shipment of new glasses to me - no mean feat as I was out in Costa Rica at the time - making it seem like it was his personal mission to get the new pair to me with minimum hassle. Definitely check them out, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I've just received my sunglasses(Hamilton) I purchased from yourselves last week & am ever so pleased with them... they look amazing... even more amazing than when I saw picture of Liam Gallagher wearing them..lol (that's what influenced me to buy them).. also the customer service you offered is top notch & the little note that accompanied glasses was a real nice personal touch. I've bought several pairs of Finlay London sunglasses over the years online. Their shop is great as you can now go in and try before you buy. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I also recently had to get glasses for the first time so used their optician who was excellent, and nothing like the lab coat scientists I remember going to as a child. I think she was wearing Gucci trainers!

Excellent all round experience. I had an eye test on site and I usually dislike the test itself, but the Finlay crew may have redeemed that! The test was thorough, it wasn't awkward, they helped me pick out some glasses after, but didn't bombard me with trying to make a sale. I also had a lovely cup of coffee while I picked the frames, which was a great extra! Would definitely recommend their services.

Finlay has wonderful customer service. I unfortunately had to return the sunglasses I bought for a vacation as they weren’t quite right for my face, and they could not have been more pleasant and efficient with the return, even all the way from the United States. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again come summertime.

The Finlay London eyewear store is in a great location in Soho. I went in for an eye exam and was very pleased! The only other eye exam I've had was a very clinical visit. At Finlay the optician was extremely informative and made sure to answer any questions I had and speak in a way that was clearly understood. Best eye test appointment I've ever had. The optician was friendly, professional, explained everything without prompting. When my prescription was very borderline, they did not try and push me to buy a pair of glasses anyway, which other places have done in the past. Overall just a joy of an experience - who knew you could say that about a routine eye test!

Had an eye test in the Finlay store in Soho today, was a great experience and more enjoyable than any eye test I have had before. The staff were really friendly and helped me pick out the best frames for me! I also was really pleased with the price! Will definitely be a returning customer!

I booked a full eye test online which lasted about 40 minutes on the day, and it was a totally different experience from the staid and clinical eye exams I've had in the past. There is a real personality and vibe to the store, and a great edit of eye wear. I was immediately greeted and offered a cuppa, and given room to brows before Mai the onsite optician collected me. She talked me through each of the tests with a really warm and informative manner, even giving me some great information on how to maintain my eye health as we worked through the program. I already own a pair of sunglasses from the brand, but my loyalty was sealed when Mai informed me that due to my prescription being so small at -0.25, 0, that I could always wear glasses for style purposes but she couldn't clinically recommend that I needed glasses. This was so different from the pushy sales experiences I've gone through time and again elsewhere. I'll no doubt be back for another pair of sunglasses, and next year for my eye test.

I’ve been a customer of Finlay for a number of years and was delighted when they opened their London store. Although buying their eyewear online is very simple, I enjoy being able to try on their glasses in person at their trendy store just off Regent St. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and will make sure you get the right frames for your shape and style. If you’re lucky you may also bump into Dave, one of the founders of Finlay, who will tell you all about the brand’s history. The whole experience at Finlay is first class, which is expected from the UK’s premier designer eyewear brand. The most recent pair I purchased from them will definitely not be the last.

Fantastic shop for eyewear. If you're a fan of vintage-inspired sunglasses / glasses with a bit of modern flair-- this is the place to go. The shop layout is superbly done and the team are incredible. They were friendly and helpful (but gave you space + time to try things out as well). Was tough to make a decision between 3 pairs as they were all stunning! Purchased a set of sunnies that I'm very happy with and will keep for ages. Also-- a great perk is that if your glasses get bent out of shape or happen to be in need of some extra TLC, bring them back in and the team will sort it out for you. Thanks, Finlay!

Eyetest *****: did an eyetest in store. Was easy to book online, test is much more elaborate than the "normal" ones. They actually look at the health of your eyes rather than just reading letters. Exceptional staff, friendly, attentive and detailed. Oh and they sell fesh frames too. Store was a great find.
