They offer an outstanding professional service and everyone I have dealt with, Karen, La, Joanna, Sarah to name a few have been without exception fantastic and highly focused on delivering an excellent customer experience. They have state of the art equipment and a wealth of experience and expertise. They also offer a great value eye plan and I was able to save a lot of money on new glasses and lenses. I recently had my eyes tested by and bought glasses from Karen Lockyer Optometrists and I was extremely impressed by the service I received. Nothing is too much trouble - run out of contact lenses, they will give you a few extra while you wait for the next delivery. I’ve been bringing my youngest since he was 8 months old and now he’s 5! The staff here are incredible and the selection of awesome children’s glasses is fabulous. They were able to fit him with the best possible glasses for a small baby and have always come up with amazing solutions as he’s grown. He genuinely loves coming here! We have just found out my eldest son needs glasses so we brought him here as we weren’t happy that the selection elsewhere for 7 year olds would suit how active he is and wanted to find one pair of glasses that were cool, sturdy, and could be worn for PE as well as reading etc. Simon found us the perfect pair and my son is over the moon. I cannot recommend them more... always friendly and kind, always so knowledgable and so professional, and they go above and beyond to help their customers find an individually tailored pair of glasses that is the best for them 😀

I have been going to Karen and her team for many years now. The eye test is extremely comprehensive and is definitely worth doing. My prescription is quite strong and I require varifocal lenses. I hadn’t realised how tricky it is to transition to varifocal lenses as Karen and her team got it spot on first time round. It wasn’t until I tried other opticians (and had issues) that I realised how good Karen is. One person that stood out in terms of professionalism, service and knowledge is Simon! He really is the best. So patient, friendly, and he knows what to do. He is the only person I trust to adjust my glasses. He is also extremely good at selecting the right style of glasses for me.

I am a community clinical nurse specialist in palliative care and was out do home visits when I accidentally rubbed my eye causing my contact lens to become dislodged and fall out .Unfortunately i had not brought a spare one with me so was in dire straits as i could only see out one eye and had to drive my car !!!
