J. D.Really brilliant service today with a knowledgeable optician who explained all the tests in detail and also wasn't rushed in approach. Very good advice when choosing frames in terms of face shape, eyebrows, style for work or leisure. Great place so much more personal service than a chain would recommend to all locals.
D. G.I took my 5 year old son to have his eyes tested after he failed a screening at school. The gentleman whom I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and reassuring. He answered all my queries that I had because I was basically handed a form from the school with the words failed eye screen see opticians and an attached form with statistics with I couldn't fathom.
We were given an appointment which suited us very quickly. When we arrived for his appointment it was a very calm and in my sons words an "exciting" experience. The actual optician who we had was very professional and carried out the tests extensively.
My son was given a prescription for his eye sight. When it came to picking frames I felt under no pressure to pick expensive ones, in fact I was given pointers to the most practical. My son very felt comfortable in the environment, overall fabulous encounter.

The gentleman who owns the business also sorted out my first ever prescription glasses with the minimum of fuss and diagnosed a hint of glaucoma which has since been confirmed at the local eye clinic.
