Amazing service. I messaged at 9.00 p.m. on Boxing Day, got an instant reply and made an appointment for next day (a Bank Holiday) at 12.00. Within 20 mins of dropping off prescription they called to say glasses were ready. They were perfectl. Highly recommended if you need replacement glasses asap.

The most thorough and brilliant experience I have ever had at an opticians. The attention to detail by Mr Yorgo is second to none. From the moment I entered the store to the moment I left Yorgo was pleasant as ever. 100% would recommend to any of my friends and the fact that I managed to get my glasses writhing 15 minutes was incredible and was one of many reasons I came here! Will definitely be back

An excellent service. Very fast and efficient but still you receive an indepth eye test with modern technology and you're able to try on a large range of glasses, much more choice than the usual chain-style opticians. I'm very pleased with two pairs of very nice glasses that I received after 30 minutes wait.

Glasses broke on the way to work. With half of my pair in the train tracks it became obvious I was in desperate need of a replacement ASAP. Optichic Opticians communicated on WhatsApp, met my needs and delivered to me whilst I was at work. Crazy good service. Can't recommend enough! ☺

Very pleased with the professional service and glasses I had made here. I broke my glasses at work and was able to have an eye test and receive new ones all within less than an hour - and all after 6pm! I lost my glasses whilst holidaying in Wales and I was down to a handful of contact lenses. All the opticians I checked in Wales and London had a processing time of 10 days. Very good customer service. I contacted them over whatsapp and soon received a reply. Other stores asked me to wait for 2 weeks to get new glasses but Optichic did it in 2 days. Fantastic service - I had an emergency situation with my eye that meant I needed prescription sunglasses and glasses very quickly. As I had my own frames, I wanted a reglaze service and found OptiChic online. Honestly speaking, I was a bit doubtful reaching out on WhatsApp, but Yorgo was very responsive and gave very helpful, insightful advice that helped me choose the right lenses for my needs. I can’t recommend these guys enough - a little over 24 hours later and I had the glasses I needed. Great quality lenses, fantastic customer service, great price and fast. The level of customer service was excellent. Yorgo was polite and professional at all times. He was flexible with the time of appointment. My glasses broke on Friday and my appointment was booked on Saturday. He explained the eye tests which I wanted performed and meaning of the results very simply with excellent analogies. I urgently needed spectacles with a new prescription (including astigmatism correction) and Optichic provided me with them very swiftly - I rang them then WhatsApped my prescription, and they confirmed that they could do it if I came straight away. I have been using Optichic Opticians now for a couple of years. Since I first entered the store I received excellent service polite and friendly. Since then I have made special requests where they try and do there best to get the glasses you want or similar. I had found out this is a family run business and they are all excellent in there work. I have recently ordered new reading glasses where one of the gentleman was helping me choose the correct one which suits my face this is important to me, sometimes finding glasses can be complicated and you need help to decide which looks best on you. I then ordered some sunglasses with different colour lens when they arrived I was very satisfied with the style. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Optichic for your help and it’s great to see there is still excellent and friendly service around which is important. I was badly let down by another opticians. I made an appointment with Optichic who seen me the following day , they provided me with a very affordable pair of glasses which I desperately needed for work , they were ready for me to pick up 30 minutes after my eye test...amazing !!!! I returned a couple of weeks later to order my reading glasses which I picked up the following day, a pair of designer glasses at an unbelievably great price. We are sometimes under the impression that we get great deals and a better service at the bigger Opticians but Optichic is a very modern, up to date, independent opticians where you can experience a personal professional service and still get a fantastic range of frames and at equally surprisingly fantastic prices.

Amazing service from this opticians Friendly helpful and made within 30 mins We travelled from south east London and it took us an hour but worth the journey my boyfriend broke his glasses and couldn’t get an appointment anywhere quick we rang at around 6 last night and explained the situation. Popped in with a question on whether they could adjust my vintage frames to be wider and not dig into my face. Very helpfully they spent time to fix it there and then and I am very happy. Kindly not charged a penny. Highly recommended. Looks like a wonderful family business. I have done research myself in Optics (at Imperial College) and had a long and enjoyable conversation about some technicalities with the optometrist. Incidentally if you like vintage frames (as I do) they are the only optician I have come across who sell these.

My son broke his glasses two days before his cricket finals and his general optician didn't help at all saying put a cello tape on until his next appointment which was in three weeks. I searched online for same day service and found Optichic Optician, upon contacting I was so relieved that they were willing to make a pair of glasses for him the same day. On the next day upon arrival they tested my son's eyesight and literally after one hour his two pair of glasses were ready not just their work is great also the staff is very polite and helpful too. This place is unbelievably amazing. I desperately needed some glasses before tomorrow night and discovered at 4.30pm today that the ones I ordered from my optician 10 days ago had not been in fact been processed. I did a Google search and found a few places but the quickest they could get me anything was 2 days time. I even tried to see if I could get anything off the shelf but couldn’t. Found this website at 6pm, saw the chat function and asked to see if I could get my prescription made. Was fully prepared to be told I needed to go to Bayswater. To my amazement I was able to do the whole thing by WhatsApp. Sent over my prescription, took a selfie with a ruler on my forehead, sent a picture of the shape of glasses I liked, gave colour preferences and the very nice optician sent me back a choice of about 10 glasses. I chose a frame and asked for a price expecting it to be prohibitive. Was amazed to find they ranged from £49 to £320. The ones I chose were the lower end and entitled me to a second pair free including the lenses. By now it was 6.35pm and the last post had left so they would now not arrive until Saturday. I asked if there was anyway I could get them couriered as I needed them to be able to drive on Friday evening and was stunned to find not only would they courier them tonight, the price was cheaper than me getting the train into Bayswater and back. They arrived at my door at 8pm this evening (2 hours from sending the chat enquiry), the lovely man waited while I tried them in and checked all fitted properly. Both pairs are perfect and I still can’t quite believe it - I now have 2 pairs of glasses that are nicer and cost less than the one pair I was going to have to pay had my own optician not messed up my original order. Cannot rate highly enough.

Very clear, efficient, and effective service with great patience to answer any questions from eye test to receiving the anti-fog glasses. It's real anti fog and doesn't get foggy even with mask on! Very impressed! I was in an urgent situation where i needed glasses, and by some miracle they manged to provide me glasses just a few hours after i spoke to them. Due to Covid 19 i was unable to attend the optician personally, but with a picture of my face that i sent, they were able to match my face with a suitable pair of glasses that at the end looked fantastic. They were precise and extremely helpful and they catered to my every request including door to door service with a smile, and with a patient attitude. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I am Diabetic and have been having problems with my eyes. I had my eyes tested, and asked for my lenses to be changed. I had previously gone to a well know opticians and was not tested properly as after I got the glasses, my vision was still blurry. I’ve never had anyone sit down and explain what is going on in the background of my eyes until I came the this opticians. I left with the correct prescriptions lenses changed to what they should be and a better understand about the cause of my problem. And they only took under 40 mins to make the lenses and fit it to my glasses Best service thank you guys

Yorgo Mansi has just gone above and beyond on Boxing Day. I was waiting for some last-minute contact lenses to be delivered on 23rd December, but they did not turn up. I did not have a pair of glasses to wear instead and was facing the prospect of not being able to see at all for at least 3-4 days, plus I was supposed to be working on Monday 28th. To be able to access emergency eyewear at the 11th Hour is indescribably convenient and the quality of service I received was second-to-none. I would not hesitate in recommending his and his team's company to anyone else in a similar situation - other 'express' companies would have taken a minimum of 10 working days to get glasses made - I walked out with a pair within 30 minutes. 5 stars is just not enough to rate this opticians!

Excellent. I was able to get my old frames updated with a new prescription for £90. Specsavers originally charged me £250+ for a bunch of things I didn’t need and never once said I could keep my old frames so I went here with my prescription dropped my old frames in at 12pm and they were ready by 2pm!! I literally visited +15 opticians over the last 2 weeks and Optichic Opticians is the only one who didn't try to rip me off. Their prices are very reasonable, and Yorgo was very kind. Nearly all other opticians refused to make adjustments on my lenses and frame because I didn't buy from them however Yorgo didn't even questioned it and he solved my problem on the same day by showing the kindness of mediterranean people.

We recently purchased a pair of glasses which were required very quickly!. I must say that the service we received within a matter of hours via the on-line chat was absolutely fantastic. Not only was it very fast & efficient but the fact that it was on a Sunday afternoon and a special appointment was arranged instantly for later that afternoon was very impressive & showed a very high level of customer care. Yorgo Mansi even made a special trip and opened just for us which was amazing. On top of this he went well over & beyond and said if that if we don't mind waiting he can make both pairs there and then. WOW!!. So not only was the service was excellent the speed was awesome too. I told the family that we have found a great new local supplier. All five of us wear glasses and many others in our family too, and will 100% not hesitate in recommending Optichic. 6 OUT of 5 STARS Yorgo is one the nicest people you can hope to meet, who far exceeded my expectations by carefully examing, understanding and correcting my eye sight vision. Yogo took the time to guide me to choose the correct frames. They have excellent offers all the time. Words cannot explain how satisfied I was today with the outstanding service recieved from Optichic. My Son damaged his glasses this morning and wasnt able to go to school, looked around for day service glasses in my area (just to add I reside in Reading) but wasnt able to find any, I have also lived in london so travel was not an issue, contacted Optichic having found them online and within minutes had an appointment and communication continued through WhatsApp answering all questions, got there picked glasses (buy one designer glasses and get second non designer for free😉) and so it happens my Son and I walked out in just over an hour with brand new prescription glasses. Both were very patient with us, tremendously kind, humble and really appreciate us as a new customers. They got two new clients for life now. Highly recommended.
