L. H.I was advised to get a full eye test by my GP round the corner at Bridge Lane Group Practice, and my closest optician was Optique. I attended here simply due to distance, but my overall experience has been a great one.
The clinician was concerned with the results of my scan and showed me on the screen exactly which parts were the issue, and explained clearly and calmly. I was escalated to the Moorfields dept at St George's hospital and I am thankful to Optique for getting that pushed through as an urgent case.
I am now being tested for something called Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension which I had no idea would ever be something that could be determined from a routine eye test, so I'm extremely grateful to Optique for seeing the signs (excuse the pun) and pushing through my case to urgent care.
You can tell the opticians here genuinely care for the health of their patients/clients and I can't recommend them enough.

I am a long time contact lens wearer and Mr Shah suggested I try multifocal contact lenses. His suggestion and excellent contact lens fitting has been a Game Changer for me as I no longer have to constantly be putting on glasses to read my phone, cook dinner or read a menu!!! Ms Shah spent time with me picking out glasses for the days I don't wear contacts and she was very helpful to make sure the glasses fit my face and would stay put. M. L.I am delighted to recommend the service I have received from Hitesh and Nita Shah at their clinic in Battersea. I have been to various opticians over the years - some good, some just so so. However, my recent experience at this small independent practice has been superb. Hitesh performed a very detailed examination and assessment using top class equipment and provided very clear explanations and answers to my queries. My prescription has changed, but there was none of the all too frequent sales pressure to buy expensive new frames. We discussed what I had in mind - replacement of an ageing lightweight frame fitted with varifocal transition lenses, and refitting an older frame with 20% amber tint varifocals for driving. No problem. I picked up and had fitted my new glasses today. I’m very satisfied with the result. The lenses are very good quality and provide a great field of vision. Hitesh and Nita are an excellent team, and provide a friendly and professional personal service.

I have been going to Optique for years and have always been impressed that not once were presciption glasses recommended because I didn't need them! This year, when I did, there was no pressure to buy anything more expensive than the most suitable option. My new glasses have made a big difference and everyone says how good they look! I most recently bought a pair of transitions light intelligent mirrored lenses in green to be fitted into a pair of green frames. I love them so much! Not only do I have a great new pair of fashionable glasses but on sunny days they turn into aviator style sunglasses with green/ gold mirrored lenses. L. T.I've only just started to visit Optique after an extremely poor experience at a well known franchise. The difference in experience is amazing,. From initial entry into the premises, I was treated as an individual, in a calm and ordered environment. Time was taken to understand my needs and then a product prescribed which does what I need it to. I was given a choice of Multifocus contact lens, as opposed to there being only one choice, and Mr Shah took the time to ensure that my prescription was correct and suited me. The whole experience was one of positivity, with my needs at the centre. I would wholeheartedly recommend Optique.
Y. K.I have been attending Optique for 25 years, even though I haven't lived or worked in the area for many years. Mr Shah is a superb and extremely thorough optician and the service from the whole team is exceptional. Their investment in the latest technology by means of digital photography has possibly prevented an adverse outcome to my eye. I attended for my routine eye test recently and the photography picked up a small hole in my retina which probably wouldn't have seen with the manual examination. I had absolutely no eye symptoms to suggest a retinal hole. Mr Shah sent me immediately to Moorfields where further tests showed the hole and leakage posed a 50% risk of retinal detachment without laser treatment. I had laser treatment straightaway, which was successful. I can't thank Mr Shah and the team enough for the fantastic care they've provided over the years and highly recommend them to others.

J. H.Best opticians I've ever been to in the 20 years I've been wearing glasses and contact lenses. Excellent and thorough eye tests from a first rate optician with advanced technology to scan all parts of the eye. I called when I had an emergency with my contact lenses and despite not being registered here, the optician saw me 10 minutes after I called, even opening the shop early for me because I was in pain. I received the best treatment and advice and I've since returned to have my glasses and lenses check up (years overdue) and have been given a cheaper price on my lenses than I've been paying online! Couldn't recommend the service here more highly.
B.First class eye exam with a great deal of care taken by Hitesh Shah. Good variety of frames, and patient, knowledgeable, and considered assistance with choosing the correct frame and lenses for both my face and prescription from Nita Shah. Delivered on time with follow up call from Nita to check that I was happy. Particularly happy with the slim and seamless look of the lenses in the frame as have heavy prescription for near sight, and over which Nita took a great deal of time to ensure that I would get an excellent result. My first visit and look forward to many more. Thank you to all at Optique.
V. P.I have been under the care of Mr. Shah for over thirty years. I highly recommend the Optique family. Any issues quickly resolved such as fitting/selecting correct contact lenses and change of prescription in less than six months.
c. p.I have been to many opticians but Optique on Battersea Park Road are easily the best. They take an enormous amount of trouble to deliver what their customer wants, and do not give the hard sell that is common in some of the larger chains. My husband, also a client, and I recommend them very highly and will now not go anywhere else.
