I never put up with mediocre service. I've been a customer of Chatoo for over 20 years. They once detected a serious medical issue that allowed me to seek prompt hospital attention (all good now!). My eyesight has improved under their bespoke prescriptions. I am now sporting some fabulous and amazing specs that's taken 10 years off me. Thank you for outstanding and continued service.

I have been coming to Chatoo opticians for over 20 years and always find their service first class, friendly and knowledgeable. The shop decor might be a little dated but they have all the latest designer frame styles and are cheaper than all the high street optician chains. My new glasses arrived quickly and I'm very pleased with them. The knowledgeable staff helped me to pick out a Tom Ford design, which I love. If they don't have the frames you want on display then Mr Chatoo will order them and they will be cheaper than Boots, David Clulow etc. The eye test was done thoroughly by very pleasant chap.

Brilliant customer service all the way though. My optician was very lovely and explained everything to me in a clear way and answered all my questions. The gentleman who helped me look at frames was also very kind and made some great recommendations. You feel very welcome the entire appointment. I had a lense stuck in my eye, as some of you may know this is absolute agony. Went into Chatoo, the first time I'd ever been there, as I was in the area at the time. Not only were the staff super engaging and helpful but extracted my lens, which had been torn, and gave me some free dailies to carry me through! Fantastic service

Exemplary customer service. The Optician really looked after me, my eyes were given a thorough MOT! She also helped pick out really lovely affordable frames, there was no hard sell of the most expensive options. I was absolutely thrilled when I got a text to say my glasses were ready less than 24 hours after my visit.

Friendly service and good value for money. I have always needed glasses and after every trip to an optician, usually leave feeling like I have been ripped off. I felt that this place really tried to meet my needs, and within a reasonable budget. I will definitely be returning to this optician again.

Best value Lindberg frames I could find by a long shot. There was a hiccup with my previous optician providing the incorrect prescription but Chatoo rectified this quickly and at no extra charge. I only leave reviews if I'm particularly impressed - I recommend S Chatoo very highly for price and service.
