Had a really wonderful experience at this Specsavers location recently getting my eye exam, as well as renewing my contact lenses and buying some new glasses. Mohammod was a huge help to me in choosing my glasses and was extremely patient with me even though it took me a long time to decide. His customer service was outstanding. I've given four stars only because this location is always so busy that sometimes when I enter the store it can take awhile for someone to serve me, and occasionally I've been greeted by someone and then seemingly forgotten about. I truly think the staff there is working as hard as they can so perhaps I've just happened to be there at an exceptionally busy time.

I'm enjoying my new glasses, they are perfect. The optometrist is professional and efficient. Yasmeen is friendly and approachable. The waiting time for the glasses is 14 days and it was ready by then. Waiting time satisfactory. Very efficient branch. Strongly recommended.

Excellent customer services! Donna was very kind, helpful and approachable despite a very busy period. Mohammed Uddin did miraculous job in fixing the broken frame of my glasses and dealing with my prescription. The optometrist that saw me was very professional and efficient. The waiting time to get new glasses prescription in my case is 14 days but I guess that is to be expected. Very efficient branch overall. Strongly recommend!

Booked an appointment with Specsavers Brixton. When doing so I specifically asked whether they accepted a specific VDU voucher from my employer. Attending the appointment and spending £200 on test and new glasses, they then advised they DO NOT accept “that kind” of VDU voucher. Update: Specsavers kindly called me yesterday afternoon and invited me to return. I agreed. Krish couldn’t have been more helpful, explaining everything to me clearly. Krish even honoured the voucher due to the wrong information I had been given. Walked out with the prescriptions I needed and some money left in my bank account. Thank you Krish :)

Staff very friendly and helpful. Opticians seem professional. Knocked a star off as not enough range/choice of glasses. Also not sure how accurate tests are. Twice over the years my eyesight has improved, however I have a feeling my prescription from previous test were inaccurate. Good value for money, just be careful as many extras can boost the cost of your glasses. Would rather the cost was upfront and included in frame price. For example if you opt for slim frames there is an additional £55 to shave lenses down to fit them. Overall, I would recommend as can get glasses within any budget and overall happy with service. With a few improvements it would be excellent and worthy of 5 stars!

I had a really great appointment with my daughter at this branch. My daughter has ADHD and was very nervous prior to the appointment and also got upset during her eye test and started crying but the optician Aisha was just superb. She was considerate and empathetic and also took her time to make her feel at ease which I really appreciated. We also interacted with Kade who was so down to earth and friendly ad literally kept us laughing throughout. They have a really good team at this branch and I was overall very impressed.

I arrived 10 minutes early and was asked to have a seat in the waiting area when I explained I was there for an eye test. It was explained if there is no change in my prescription then there will be a £35 charge for the eye test. I accepted that, as I have been seeing double with my glasses on for over 3 weeks. The Optician is friendly and was patient with me when I was asked questions based on what my eyes can see. I was seen by Yasmeen afterwards and she advised me to get a pair of £69 range glasses as the discount on them and lenses would be greater than on the £49 price range glasses I picked earlier. Yasmeen explained the glasses will be posted to me. Yasmeen is nice and approachable.

The service was good and staffs manners, but after the payment need some more explanation I thought the eye test and 2 glasses buy one get one free supposed between £200 I didn't expect add lenses to glasses extra £75 each glass almost £400 if service been should say to us. I got bad experience from this might think change other company next time

Brilliant store. I got my eyes tested, was issued my new prescription and bought new glasses. It was refreshing to see a store actually take their COVID precautions seriously. Donna (the Store Manager) was so dilligent in this and frequently checked in on staff and issued friendly but firm reminders to customers on what they needed to do. I felt safe but still had an easy experience. The staff are clearly up against it but everyone was friendly, helpful and prepared to do the extra bit.

Was seen not too long after my appointment time. Staff were friendly and helpful, my son needed glasses but the appointment did not take too long. We had to wait for a call to let us know the glasses were ready for collection. Upon returning to collect the glasses we were told that we needed an appointment to pick them up, which we had not previously been told. They still allowed us to pick up the glasses but apparently an appointment is supposed to be made first.

If you need your glasses fixed and someone says you have to get new ones - ask for Jehvornie. I had such a pleasant experience today when he fixed my glasses right up. Full story: I came in a week ago, after having sat on my glasses a few months earlier, and finally decided I'd like them fixed. A partner tried to fix them and told me they could reuse the lenses and I'd get new frames for half the price. I decided that they were still in an all right shape, but when I got home they fell to pieces! Can't help feeling that partner just made the screws looser. I fixed them cheap Harry Potter style with a bit of tape and after feeling cheap for about a week, decided that I'd just fork up the cash. In comes Jehvornie, showing ambition and love to the universe and a fellow human being, and fixed them right up. THANKS, brother.

What a fantastic experience I had today in the Brixton specsavers! It was a pleasure. From start to finish I was treated like a VIP customer. . I only popped into the store to have a quick look at the frames because I had an appointment the following day at another specsaver store (I won’t say where but it’s in KENT) however the Brixton staff where so professional, warm, informative and fun I felt I was in good hands and decided to stay and shop. Donna the store manager has a fantastic team and should be proud, the store was absolutely packed with people, however donnas team ensured everyone was approached and was made to feel someone was on hand if needed. Yasmin.. served me and made sure I was seen to very quickly, she is so bubbly and honest and helped me chose two fantastic frames (with Donna) and had me laughing with her entertaining banter. The young gentleman that did my pre- optician test was efficient and so polite. Farah (optician) was really lovely , informative and made a normally boring appointment interesting and you could feel she really loved and enjoyed her job! On a whole I will be coming back and totally recommend the Brixton store as a centre of customer excellence.

Advice was not sales-y at all as she said my prescription change was so minor I didn't need new glasses unless I really wanted them. Good prices, especially with the free eye test voucher. Amazing professional service! I just moved to contact lens. Brixton Spec Saves gave me training, a week free trial, a follow-up check. Ive visited this store on two separate occasions and each time feel rushed through the eye exam and pressured to make a purchase right away. The hard sell is relentless! Are they on commission? The optometrist Dr. Brian was wonderful, and all the staff were so nice and helpful. I had lost my contacts while traveling and was feeling very panicked, but they were able to do a fitting very quickly, and had the contacts with the prescription I needed in store. Each time I have visited with friends who have Englsh as a second language, he has taken us all under his wing and made sure everyone is on board and understanding what's happening. Been to streatham and walworth road and Brixton in the last few month to look at the glasses as it was close to two years for my check up. Both streatham and walworth road would rush me into buying frames that did not suit me and try to make me buy something I didn’t want too. Brixton branch however, told me about the different offers and then a young lady then showed me a FACE SCAN which Recommended glasses according to my face shape which was great. My money was well spent and I would defenitly recommend Brixton. :) I will see you again soon

I went there to pick out a new frame for my new glasses, there was lots of assistants, but I was there for 15-minutes and I didn't get any assistance. I left the shop to go back another day

Poor service they never text me whenever my glasses are ready for collection. You have to called them instead of them calling. Also another person says your glasses is ready and when u go there to collected it someone else says that they aren't there yet🙄😱
