I have used this branch of specsavers for many years and have been very impressed with their service. They identified that I had Glaucoma at a very early stage. On my last visit the optician was as usual very professional. However, whilst all the staff wore masks the man who operated the reception did not which was both annoying and contrary to the law.

I went here, I believe, in 2016, when I was 15 and traveled with my family. English is not my first language and as you can imagine, at 15 I lacked some crucial vocabulary and my parents couldn't help me out much either so of course something we weren't prepared for at all had to happen. My glasses broke in half so we had to find an optician closest to the hotel we were staying at. I don't know if we possibly could've gotten luckier with the staff, they were so patient, caring and lovely, gave us a fantastic deal for a new pair, a free eye sight test and effortlessly worked around the language barrier. I hope they are doing well, I don't think I can forget how I was treated that day, I am very grateful to have been a customer, would always recommend🙏🏻🖤

I can recommend this place as service I have got was excellent! I have to mention Dershni- optometrist who is looking after my eyes- check and contact lenses. She is very nice and professional, helped me with my red and dry eye when I had a problem. She is a star at Specsavers. The shop offers nice range of affordable frames, so I can save some money for nice dress instead of overpaying in expensive competitors. Good quality of service and product.

As soon as you step in, you feel a well structured team dynamic that welcomes you so warm and nicely! Very clean and comfortable place too. devices and machines make the procedure quick and easy. I have to say this is probably one of the best Specsavers I have been to. I wanted to get some new glasses, and was helped out by Pamela. Usually when I go to specsavers, the opticians just try to push a sale but not Pamela, she was truely amazing. Made me comfortable, and was honest in her opinions of how the glasses looked on me. She was very patient and is really funny as well. She was very knowledgable and her experience really shows. Welcoming staff was incredibly unhelpful in their approach when I told them my issue of having lost one lense and needing a new one before leaving next day. Even after continuosly telling her I was not UK based she kept asking me for UK phone numbers, adresses and telling me that I'd be able to pick up new lenses after 5 working days (Had repeatedly told her I were leaving the country the following day). Seemed like she wasn't listening at all. The person who actually did my eye tests however were great and incredibly helpful - although it seemed excessive that the test took over 1,5 hours.

It's not very often that life is hassle-free but visiting the Bloomsbury branch of SPECSAVERS for an eye-test & re-glazing of my old glasses is one of those times. A smooth & courteous booking service resulted in a professional and highly informative Eye Test (the Optician even spent time answering my general questions about eye health too after the Test had been concluded). The Eye Test itself was thorough. Before seeing the Optician, her colleagues used three machines to gather eye health data (including taking photographs of both my eyes' retina - the image reminded me of NASA images of planet Mars - that were later examined and discussed). The actual Optician's Consultation was equally impressive using digital Eye Charts and electronic lens testing to ensure that the correct prescription was suggested. The after Test service was, again, attentive, and within three (working) days I will be collecting my re-glazed spectacles, and it's important to say that there was no pushy Sales talk that urged me to upgrade lenses or to buy cleaning products. Overall, a friendly, welcoming staff offering a quality neighbourhood service that will guarantee that I will avoid the queues and pressure of central London's Oxford Street stores and visit the store again.

Walked in with broken glasses (a screw had fallen out (so arm dropped off) and asked if they had a repair kit. They said they could try to fix them, just asked me to confirm that I wouldn't blame them if they damaged the glasses in the attempt (as of course they weren't sure what type of screw it was). Anyhow, no cost, lovely friendly service. Even cleaned my glasses afterwards. Would highly recommend them. Thanks!
