O.The optometrist is great and eye test excellent but the rest of the care and staff let the place down - for example, when i collected my glasses, they just handed them to me and sent me off, without getting me to try them on or checking that they fit - which they didn't, and in the end i went elsewhere to have them adjusted. The selection of frames is limited so i wasn't able to find any I liked and kept my old ones. The prices are comparable to other mainstream opticians.
D. G.I was satisfied with my experience at Specsavers. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a bit of wait to collect the glasses but I am happy with them so far.

H. B.Only came in for an eyesight test yesterday and everything was absolutely fine and lovely, however, I do have to comment on the worrying lack of staff. It was a ridiculously busy day, there was not a single moment where the store was empty whilst I was in there, and I could only see two or three members of staff in the store. Surely on a busy day there should be at least 4 or 5 members of staff on the shop floor? Huge thank you to the tall kind ginger lad with the incredible hairstyle ( so glad to see more people rocking mullets in 2021!!! ) who I could tell was ridiculously stressed, but was carefully taking the time to speak to myself and every customer he could. Lovely experience however please look after your staff!!!!!!! Having worked in hospitality and customer service jobs when I was younger I know there's nothing worse than being understaffed on a busy day!
I understand if you are understaffed because of COVID, however, nothing breaks my heart more than seeing young people trying their absolute best but being pushed to and beyond their absolute limits. Perhaps consider even closing the store when not enough members of staff are able to work? I apologise for the long ramble, and I may just be an overly emotional woman in her mid-30's, but I hope you can take my observations into consideration.
N. K.The staff are always really lovely and helpful; they will take good care of you. Prices ok too. Only thing I would improve is that some staff sometimes don’t wear PPE, which makes me slightly less comfortable, but otherwise highly recommend Specsavers.
