Went to Specsavers for my routine eye test and tried out this branch. Generally I am anxious going to my appointments worried about my eye health. My optimitrist Gulten helped ease my pressure and professionally checked my eyes using the latest equipment my previous Specsavers branch did not have. She then directed me to Eoin who helped analyse my eye health further who gave me good news about that. I had a great experience in this Specsavers and want to thank both Gulten and Eoin for their professionalism and excellent customer service.

Sat on my Clubmaster glasses and snapped the nylon that holds the lenses in. Popped in today and a member of staff managed to fix them in under 30mins. Thanks, we chuffed!!!

Incredibly great experience this morning taking my eye test (for the first time in probably 10 years). I wish all doctors/GP/hospitals etc behaved as calmly and professionally as the optometrist there. Kind of wish I had to go there more often!

My previous experience at specsavers was not too great. I changed opticians for this reason, however, a friend of mine recently recommended the mare street branch because they were particularly impressed with the service given by Gulten. When I went in I wasn’t disappointed. Her knowledge and approach was remarkable. Although I was very difficult with the amount of questions I asked she was patient with me at all times and remained professional. Thanks to her my family and I will be returning.

My husband had an appointment for an eye test at 10:10 and half an hour later we were still waiting with non of the pre tests done. The manager couldn't be more apologetic and did everything she could to speed up his tests and personally took care of his post test procedures (new glasses and lense choice). However I don't think her telling off the front desk staff in front of the other customers was very professional and should have been done in private. Having said that it was good to see and hear for myself that she did actually speak to them and not just give us platitudes that she would do it later and then never do it.

Fabulous service, quick, professional and clear advice. I had a free eye test voucher, the test took about 40 minutes of their time. A very good service which is recommended to anyone else with a free voucher. Easy to make a booking online and great service minded staff.

I like Specsavers for providing a value for money offering. On the downside the range of glasses does not seem that great so I seem to be waiting on new ranges to be introduced before selecting a new pair. Other places seem to be significantly costlier but have a wider range of quality frames..... decisions decisions!!!

Upon arrival I was extremely baffled by the amount of people on the shop floor, little privacy and disorganised. I was seen early, in spite of the chaos, the young lady that helped my was very efficient and ahead of her game, she was of African descent. I was seen by Dr. Daniel Khan, he was a delight! So helpful, patient, enthusiastic! I was really please with the service and overall support! Would definitely come back.

A nice store with friendly staff, fairly quiet store but has some dodgy customers. Was testing a person and during the sight test, the guy stood up and laid on the floor, weird, lool!! Many places in store to pray but not a close mosque around. Has some Halal food places, always a good thing.

This branch has great staff... Nice selection of designer and non-designer frames... Hearing tests and aids are offered as well as optical checks and glasses/contact lenses... Thorough checks are done by the professional staff... The clerks and the manager on duty are helpful... I was offered a decent discount too... Not necessarily the cheapest deal but I have very specific needs (varifocals etc.) so I understand they may not be able to offer a low price...

They are very busy on Saturdays so you Amy have to wait awhile. The store has a strange smell so my son (age 8) refuses to enter and waits outside. Please do something about this smell.
