I would highly recommend this branch out for anyone! I popped in to browse for some glasses and ended up leaving with an amazing pair coupled with an amazing customer experience from Joseph and Ty. Ty was very patient with me even though i was very indecisive and made me feel very warm and welcome. His customer service was excellent! Similarly Joseph was very kind to me and gave me nice and honest opinions on the glasses i tried. Would definitely recommend this branch to anyone, everyone here is very lovely!

I have used Specsavers Lewisham since first needing glasses around eight years ago and have always received an exceptionally high level of service from all staff and extremely well-finished products. The last time - just a few days ago - was no exception to this, with Victoria being my main point of contact in the store and doing a superb job of finding the right frames for me and of taking me through the entire process with great charm and professionalism. These qualities were also evident from Kuda (who did the digital retinal photography and worked out what prescription I needed) and from Yohana (who did the eye health checks and other various technical things). In sum: great staff and great products at this store.

Fantastic customer experience. Booked an appointment online the evening before, loads of available time slots to choose from. Seen by the optometrist team bang on time. Thorough, professional and friendly examination. Extensive social distancing in place and being 100% adhered to by all. I tried on several frames, all of which were scrupulously cleaned before being returned to the display. Excellent customer service from Lilly who provided me with expert advice and helped me choose the best frames for my face and wallet. Super efficient and welcoming team vibe from all members of staff. Literally couldn’t recommend this place more.

Great opticians got a new high tech machine to look at the back of your eyes and help predict the early onset of certain conditions it costs £10.00 so it seems good value, to be honest l felt a bit scared to not have the extra test! Really lovely optometrist and really knowledgeable staff.👍

Visited to have a vision test and audio screening. Was checked in quickly by an available staff member despite there being a long queue for check-in. He performed my pre-testing and then asked me to sit down in the waiting area for my optician. Optician performed my eye test and was polite and professional throughout. My prescription had changed very little in the last 25 years and as a result of it being a weak prescription she did not force me to get glasses, especially as I noticed little difference between the prescription and no prescription at all. As I am in receipt of benefits I am entitled to a free NHS voucher for glasses which she gave me but left the decision on whether I actually get glasses up to me. Wait time for the audio screening was a little longer, however the test was performed professionally and the staff member took their time to answer my questions without issue. All the staff I encountered were polite, professional and helpful, couldn't fault them, my only grumble was with regards to the wait time for the audio screening. Overall a very helpful, polite and reasonably quick optician / audio team.

Attended with and for my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. Filled out forms, had eye test, picked and ordered glasses all within 35 minutes. Went back the next week to collect glasses and was given two lovely cases for free. Very nice staff. Professional and efficient.

Specsavers is very busy and a lot of people came in at the same time. The place is not very big but there is a lot of different glasses you can choose from. The staff are lovely and welcoming and very helpful. The one thing I don't like was you had to wait a few minutes before they see you.

I don't understand all the bad reviews here. I've been to this Specsavers a number of times and always been welcomed by friendly staff. I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes for my eye appointment, which is more than I can say for most doctor's surgeries. My glasses have always been ready on time and I have had no problems calling the main telephone line.

Have been to this place several times, mostly to order new glasses and once for an eye test. Really lovely staff and good service That being said, waiting times aren't great. So I wouldn't go there if you're in a rush and would definitely take a book to read, even of you have an appointment.

Despite being a very busy Saturday, Zara managed to conduct a very professional examination, allowing sufficient time to understand our situation and test different aspects. I went into Specsavers in Lewisham because I had something really strange happening to my eye. I couldn't look at any light and it was so painful I was sobbing. Qat, Androin and Vishni were absolutely incredible. They provided me with quick service so I did not have to sit in the bright waiting room for very long at all. They also gave me a hospital referral for the same day where I also received great treatment. I had iritis and it was really scary. But Specsavers in Lewisham really provided comforting and quick help that day and I cannot thank them enough.

It's the high street opticians. Great to see the old faces in there as well as some new ones. Very busy you don't get the same service you once did. However you get your contacts and glasses

Specsavers might not have the swankiest specs and the shop is very plain, but they do have a good selection, and you can buy two for the price of one Inc varifocal lenses a big plus point for me. For me recent trip to replace broken glasses they were polite efficient and helpful (Lewisham branch). Also a choice of varifocal from v cheap to quite expensive.

Pros : some provide good customer service. I paid for my lens like 99 and feels like haven't paid much really with lens..which is more important.. Cons: if u don't ask for proper case.they won't give. So ask!! (Seems like they're trying to do it as part of their business trick). At 12meters distance approximate, can't read labels..if I am in front of computers, letters are bit shadowy..I told them about it, but because my eye result was taken at scrivens catford, I really don't know from who is the problem..I've opened up the problem to the supervisor,and she said my eyes needed sometime to get used to it, and needed eye exercise to helped me..but believe me, I have inborn eye problem, and been with several opticians..never been feeling annoyed and bothered with my lens. Overall I don't recommend to go here, and scrivens catford..in London all is expensive, and u have to go more expensive to get better treatment and results. Next time pay more ..

Kuda was the optician that assessed my eyes and she was lively throughout the whole process, whilst doing everything to a high quality of professionalism. I felt very happy about the outcome of my eye test and Kuda explained everything to me so I had a great understanding of my eye health.
