E.Nice staff but please remember when visiting any specsavers that they are Optometrists not ophthalmologists. For medical advice on your eyesight and eye health please see an ophthalmologist. Other than that great selection of glasses and great prices.

S. B.I went to pick up my first pair of glasses today. Unfortunately the glasses were blurry. I had a new eye test done in-store (there and then) and it seems a different company (competitor) had messed up my eye test from earlier in the month. Unbelievably the Director of the Strand store (Suk Orjela) said he was going to pay for the new lenses and didn't even charge me for the eye test... Thank you so much Suk! I am Specsavers for life!
S. S.I visited SpecSavers Strand this afternoon and was served by the most diligent, chivalrous and meticulous team. They offered me a sincere and genuine consultation, and ensured to dispel all my concerns that were unfortunately posited by the atrocious staff at SpecSavers Walworth Road. I advise any and all prospective customers to really consider getting their prescriptions fulfilled at SpecSavers Strand. The team on-site today was able to verify the misinformation given to me by the Walworth Road branch, and rectify any and all of the juvenile errors made by the team there. I felt taken care of, and they were very willing to go above and beyond to answer all of my queries with cogent and informed responses. Kudos to the team for their generosity and time, as this put my mind at ease and restored my trust in this franchise. Thank you to the two lovely gents who served me, and I am thrilled to continue doing business at this branch going forward - couldn’t recommend them enough!

I bought a pair of glasses for £70 before the lockdown but I was having trouble with them and I was offered a replacement after I discussed my issues with them. The staff are very friendly and curteous - this would definitely be my Specsavers of choice in the future.
V. C.I had my eyes very quickly tested for a reasonable price. The staff was very kind and the doctor gave me useful suggestions on how to find the eye drops that best suit my needs. Very much recommended.

I could only afford the cheapest glasses, and I had a voucher for a free eye test, but I didn't feel in any way treated differently because of that. There was no pressure to go for more expensive glasses.

I also needed to notify the store on the day that I would be slightly late for my appointment, had no trouble getting an answer on the phone, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Optician was excellent, although admittedly I have no point of reference this being my first eye test. Very informative with clear and concise explanations of the tests undertaken and my results. Did not require purchase of glasses, so cannot speak to sales experience.

J. J.I received great customer service here from Shilaf who went through everything I needed to know. He made sure I got the best options for my lenses that needed shearing down and offered me options if I got then and they weren't what I needed.
Would definitely recommend this Specsavers over others (especially the one at Tottenham Court Road, awful service there.).
P. K.Went in for a free eye-test, previously booked online. I had had an eye-test done by Vision Express just a few weeks earlier, and the differences were dramatic:
-- Specsavers has much more modern equipment,
-- Specsavers cleaned the equipment in front of me, before I touched it,
-- Specsavers gave me my prescription details afterwards, without me having to ask for it,
-- Specsavers did not try the "hard sell", and were quite happy for me to leave without buying anyhting, (I wanted to and go away to think about whether I wanted bifocals or varifocals).
All in all, a MUCH better experience than Vision Express!
