Overall a positive and great experience. Mr Patel is very knowledgeable and he's been talking through every step he was taking and explained everything to me. He was very thorough and quick. Everyone is very professional and respectful. I went on a Saturday morning first thing and I got attended promptly.

I love this place. I need an emergency eye check for my daughter that was in pain with her eyes. I look up on line in less than 24hrs and found lot of slot for the day. But my local one didn't have. They took their time to check her eyes. And their customer service is fantastic.

Quite busy to the point there are queues outside, I feel perhaps they need to extend the space and possible have more staff though to be fair there are plenty of staff but not enough to cope with the amount of customers they have. I do really miss the days when Jan was running the place, where she operated on kind words and a smile that lighten everybody moods honestly with her laughter echoing through the premises. Though she left years ago I still miss her presence there. 😔

Very attentive and accommodating staff, walked in without appointment to have my glasses adjusted and was helped very kindly by a gentleman's whose name I did not get but not only corrected my main concern but identified another problem and sorted it out too. Very very pleased, better than their competitor down the road 🤫

Customer service was superb from when I entered to when I left. A big shout out to Mahreen Ahmed who was excellent and full of character during my eye test and OCT scan. Mahreen answered every question I had and helped me understand my eye health. Above all, amazing job! You have to keep her there! :)

I went in as the glass had fallen out i wasn't expecting the service i recived from Darren he was such a gentleman with excellent customer service he repaired the glasses cleaned them then he looked at the spare pair cleaned them and opened the door for me . Darren is a credit to the store so impressed i haven't seen him in the store before but im glad he is there as i was so impressed.

My son had an eye test on Saturday at the Walworth branch and I can say that we have received outstanding service from the staff. The lady who carried out the eye test was very professional and very thorough with regards to examination and explanation of the procedure. Today I had my appointment at this store and I was served by one of the staff I think she told me her name is zahida. She was extremely professional and very kind and made me feel safe especially with Corona virus happening ensuring that everything is sanitizer and cleaned. She fixed my glasses very good and helped me get a great deal! Very friendly and respectful and very fast service especially with the current situation. I will definitely recommend this store . Dr Raj was really helpful and took his time to explain my prescription. The tests were conducted professionally and I am glad I chose this location to get my eyes tested. Had to wait a bit to get inside but that’s understandable given covid restrictions.

Excellent attentive employees, but very busy at times. Lots of technology I haven't seen elsewhere for testing eyes, free audio test. Great value on high index lenses, easygoing about using frames bought elsewhere. Only criticism is they could do with a larger premises.

This afternoon I visited Specsavers on Walworth Road, Elephant & Castle. I went in to fix my present frames. I ended buying 2 pairs of designer frames. I was served by Mahreen, who is a currently studying but is in her final year and working 1 day a week at the above store. She was highly professional and easy going and presented all the difference options regarding frames and lens types avialable, she double checked the prices and measurements to make sure everything was correct which it was. As a regular at this store over the last 8 years I was very impressed by her friendly manner and professionalism. 10/10 !

I can only say that the staff went above and beyond to help us, due to the CoVid outbreak he had his appointment at the hospital cancelled and they contacted the hospital to ensure my son can get a new prescription. I definitely recommend this Specsavers store as they follow covid rules perfectly and ensure you are being served as soon as you can. Today a female called zeheda helped me choose the perfect frames because it's so hard to choose something that suits you. I been to so many other opticians and this is my favourite also the lady that checked my eyes today was very good her name is Asha I think . Very pleased thank you Specsavers!

The staff were very thorough and helpful with my hearing test, but they lose points on the aftercare. WALWORTH ROAD branch if you are listening, answer your phones! Or at least do what your message says and ring back! Been trying for 3 weeks now to rebook my appointment but you permanently go to answerphone, and due to medical issues I just can't pop into the store as you're too far for me to come on my own.

I recently broke my specs and needed to be seen quickly but in the evening and was able to get an appointment within 2 days. I arrived for an appointment towards the end of the day and the optician was running late, but only by about 10-15 mins. This did mean I had to come the next day to choose my new glasses, but when the girl serving me heard I was wearing an extremely old pair that were very much the wrong prescription she immediately offered to expedite this for me and checked with the lab they could do it quickly. In the end they were ready the next day and I am so pleased. Currently there is the usual 2 for 1 deal and free eye tests so I'd say now is a good time to visit this branch, even if some of the older reviews are unflattering they do not reflect my recent experience.

I see all the negative reviews and did so before using Specsavers back in June '17 but I still went ahead and made an appointment for an eye test. I arrived on the day and was welcomed straight away, had the eye test then chose x2 pairs of glasses from the £69 range. I collected them a week later and left the store happy. On the same visit I was given a 50% discount voucher which lasted for 6 months so I had to use it by 1st December. Seeing as i would get 50% off i though id treat myself and get a designer pair. I waited less than a week and collected them last Saturday and I must say I'm happy with them. I suppose that all customer facing businesses could do with improvement but if people are that unhappy go somewhere else. Simple

I rang in to check on my lenses and to do a survey on waiting time and customer service, I waited almost 20 mins to speak to someone, when someone finally answered I spoke to a lady called Avisha I threw all the questions under the sun about why it takes so long to pick up the phone, acted like an a-hole re: not wanting to come in for a check up and she still politely and professionally answered all my questions very calmly. She sincerely apologised about the length of time it takes them to pick up the phone and said that they were working on it. Management take note, please work on this!
