Got my eyes tested here and was happy with the service. Then ordered prescription glasses for working on a monitor, as their 2 for one offer is great. I had to go twice due to incorrect length on the first attempt. The end result is very good. The staff is very curtious and the store is normally very busy. Note: the loo is only for staff. If you need it you have to go across the road to the shopping centre (10+ minute round trip)

Hello I went into Specsavers today with my mum the woman serving us seemed to not understand what we was trying to tell her the issues that my mum was having with the new glasses that she got but the ladie seemed to refused to listen to us. My mom wanted 1 pair of classes for everyday use and 1 pair for driving so the pair my mum wanted for everyday use my mum couldn't see out of them she would not listen to her I explained to her as well then she kept changi g to the same thing.she was raising g her voice everyone in the shop could hear hear she then started to shout at my mum you are not listening. Just shouting over me she then went on to say if been in this business for 25 yrs .I no more my mum and I just walked out she was so rude my mum is 72why shout at he .r

This is such a great branch. Despite purchasing Specsavers glasses from a different branch, I popped into this store and they re-fitted my glasses quickly and free of charge. Polite and friendly staff at this store, will definitely use again!

Wonderful staff, went in to get new glasses, I have health conditions and the staff were attentive and helpful, made me feel at ease and gave me an appointment there and then (I was lucky somebody didn’t show and was slotted in) for retest and ordered new glasses. It’s nice to see compassion being shown and being asked if I’m okay by nearly every staff member as there was a small wait after the eye test to sort out glasses. For something that usually annoys the hell out of me it was a nice relaxed experience. Thankyou😊

Well we're do I start, lots of trouble with my new glasses but I must say they do NOT give up in this store. Had a specialist eye test twice because they were concerned about symptoms I reported, I'm OK and have been very well cared for now to sort out the lenses😂😂

Have visited for eye tests and buying glasses in the past - all a great service, professional and personal. This time it was my ears - filled with wax. Frustrated at my GP's response (basically, don't annoy us) I was suffering and looked for alternatives. To my surprise, Specsavers came up so I booked a slot online (very easy) and dropped in the olive oil. Was seen within ten minutes of my appointment time and, I hesitate to say it, but the service was first class. No old fashioned syringing ear. It was done by fine suction, with no real discomfort; and all with an HD view through a WiFi connected otoscope. I was shown both ears and the images on the laptop explained. The procedure was as successful as possible - only bits of hard wax stuck to the eardrum in one ear. But hearing perfect again. Clear advice on dealing with the remnants - not allowed to suction wax on the eardrum itself. And proper advice to get regular checkups. If only my GP could deliver this friendly, professional and involving service with the latest technology. I was stunned at how good the audiologist was and at the results. It cost £55; and, for me, half deaf and with persistent headache, the best £55 I have spent.

Excellent service! Staff is really nice and helpful. I was there today; they were really patient while I got my eyes tested, I felt very welcome and well looked after. They also advised me and helped me to choose the right frame for my new prescription glasses.

I walked into the store to find that It was very busy. I initially planned to walk out as I had no hope that I would be dealt with any time soon and I simply needed to adjust my glasses. However, I was pleasantly surprised as a staff member (her badge name read Anika) quickly tended to me. She carefully listened to my problems, was attentive and tactfully dealt with my problems whilst multitasking (helping other customers, assisting staff and answering the phone). I would recommend this branch for the customer service alone!

The opticians were much more helpful and caring than the Optometrists. We received services from Rayan and Lité. Both of them are beautiful people who were very patient with the elderly patients! Catering their needs for (at times unnecessary) details. They both walked us through details until my elderly patient was satisfied. Really recommend this place.

Due to the pandemic, I was worried about having an appointment! However, the staff were excellent, cautious and making excellent use of PPE. Social distancing was enforced and I felt very safe. The staff member who served me was lovely and considerate too - really appreciated.

I have been going to Specsavers Wood Green branch my entire life. Needless to say I have never needed to switch to another optician because the service I have received for the past 10+ years has always been of a very high quality. The range of frames are varied and the quality of glasses is great. Most importantly, the staff are extremely helpful, amiable and attentive which is paramount in terms of customer service. The adverts are true (and if you haven't already) 'You should've gone to Specsavers.'

Got in with a pair of glasses having too short earpieces. Those were bent by quite a few people in a few places and never felt comfortable (second pair that was not used before the first one gave out). Ryan (if I remember the name correctly) was very helpful, checked all possible solutions and even though it was quite obvious I will not be getting a new pair right now he sacrificed his time to help me and offered to give it another try bending those glasses so that I can use them. Genuine will to help that was seen and felt throughout the entire experience. Honestly if you need a new pair or just want to impose a few questions ask for Ryan in this branch (sorry Ryan 😉). Should I find myself needing a new pair of glasses this is where I'll go

Wood Green Specsavers is the best opticians I have been to by far, I will definitely come again and will recommend to friends and family. I travel over 30 miles to come here as the staff are highly experienced, very professional, friendly and very helpful, especially the Manager Fred. They even managed to do my glasses same day which I was so grateful for as I lost my previous pair. If that wasn't enough they cost a 3rd of the price I was quoted from other well known high street opticians. I also asked about contact lenses and was offered a free trial, I was so happy with them i decided to buy some to wear on nights out.

Great place to help people whose vision has sadly weakened. Here the help is perfect. I had an experience in which I needed help for my glasses to be strengthened as they were highly weakened. The team who work in Wood Green Specsavers fixed my problem in less than 5 minutes! To my surprise they did it for free! WANT HELP? IF YES I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU VISIT THIS PLACE!!!

Second to none, fantastic customer service from the moment I walked into the Wood Green specsavers branch to the moment I walked out. I found the staff to be approachable, friendly and very helpful. Had a bunch of funky machine tests and the staff were very professional throughout. They just made the whole experience super easy and I felt quite relaxed during my visit tbh even though I was nervous before making the appt! So thanks guys, splendid job! I have been a Customer with them since 2007 & they are excellent. The service they give & the staff are so welcoming & nice. Manager is also very helpful. Whatever I needed from wherever I needed from other Specsavers, Wood Green Specsavers always helped & shared information in any case if I needed Contact Lenses for work. They've always been very accomodating to my needs & never failed to let me down. I have received trials of Contact Lenses from them & they have always taken on board my input of feedback. I also get my Glasses from them and always have been notified of when I'm due for a test for my Contact Lenses & Eye Test. I will recommend them to anyone & everyone.

She explained everything perfectly and ensured I was taken care of even after the eye test. Another young woman Nyma, spent a few minutes patiently advising me on the correct glasses for my face shape and ensured I was comfortable with what I had chosen. Lost my glasses and popped into Wood Green Specsavers in a bit of a panic, I didn't have an appointment but they still managed to book me in the same day even though it was really busy. I managed to get some reading glasses for work the same day which was fantastic. The only complaint is they couldn't do my varifocals the same day. I would recommend Wood Green branch as their service far exceeded my expectations .

I visited this Specsavers recently, to my surprise although I was 30 minutes late one lady in particular called Nilu made time in the diary for me so that the optician could still see me. She then waited for me to finish my eye test and showed me round to all the different ladies frames, she gave me so many options! The Balmain selection was lovely! She really helped me pick the right frame for my face shape and she was so patient with me! She offered me a drink and was really helpful. She then helped me pick the right type of lenses for my prescription which was a reasonable price, if it wasn’t for Nilu I would have certainly picked the wrong type! Her service in particular was 5star, this was my first enjoyable experience in selecting glasses as previously I felt rushed and forced into buying glasses. So thank you very much Nilu if you are reading this! I will certainly see you in one years time!
