I love my new glasses. I loved the experience I had in high holborn specsavers store. The professional staff helped me to find the perfect frame for me. Eliza and Aggie are very qualified and they will advise you in a very friend and polite way. I loved them at the same way I love my glasses ! The best store and stuff in london .

Amazing service and staff. Huge thanks to Aggie for her professionalism and her patience!! I got booked the eye test here (which was VERY comprehensive compared to what I would have expected/what I was used to) and then I got two pairs of glasses from here (one with all of the possible extras on them and one with polarised lenses + prescription). Both pairs are of great quality and the price I paid on them was fair in my opinion. I would also point out how many types of frames they sell, it's impossible not to find the one which suits you the best! I will definitely be back and recommend the place!

So, I actually went to specsavers Moorgate, however I was helped by Eliza - who I understand usually works at Holborn. I have had so many failed attempts at using contact lenses but with Eliza’s patience, expert teaching skills and kindness I can now wear them! She was a star!

Great service. In town for most of today waiting around so thought I'd try and get my eyes tested for new glasses. Although fully booked I was squeezed in to their day comfortably and have chosen 3 pairs for delivery to my home when ready. My eyes as suspected are worsening so I'm glad I was able to get tested. Fantastic customer service and a A+ experience all around! The eye testing was super quick and easy with the optometrist Jess, very professional and friendly. Absolutely amazing staff and great skills! They fixed my glasses worsened by the Vision Express staff and explained to me how they broke my glasses which they denied they did even I had proof. Will definitely recommend going!

Positive experience: competent and friendly staff, eye tests in the basement, many frames available and current offer of 2 for 1 for any frame above £69 (mix&match recommended), including designer ones, great Tommy Hilfiger ones for men. Glasses ready to be collected just 5 working days after the order. Bear in mind any extra lens treatments will be not be included in the offer for any pairs: e.g., if you want thin&light option you will pay that for both pairs reducing discount to a third, rather than 50%. Downside: rushed discussion regarding extra treatments, years ago they used to provide a leaflet explaining the details, now you will have to browse the website before the visit to be fully aware of the options; moreover, starting price for them can easily double for high prescriptions

Aggie went above and beyond and offered me multiple solutions to ensure that I leave the store with my vision back!! I can't recommend this branch of Specsavers highly enough. After having had a terrible experience at another optician chain I decided to give Specsavers a go and am so glad I did. The optician at Holborn was very thorough and explained everything clearly. They also scanned by face to determine my face shape and then recommended corresponding frame styles. The member of staff who helped me with my frame selection was extremely nice and helpful and made the process very easy. Overall it was an excellent experience from the eye check until picking up my glasses.

Went here the other day for an adult eye check up and was very pleased with the experience. The optician that I had was very professional and patient. I had a few questions that she answered very articulately. The eye test itself was actually for free because there was a special offer on and even though you were supposed to have taken along a voucher they let me have it for free anyway, they could easily have charged me the normal price for it.

Today I went into Specsavers and I was blown away with the service that Helen gave, and was surprised to know she was the manager there. She fit me in for a last minute eye test and I didn't know how bad my eyes were, she made me feel so comfortable and 'at home' and gave me a step by step of what was best for my eyes. Since my left eye was weaker than my right, she noticed I was wearing the wrong strength glasses, she then took the care of helping me choose a pair which are now I can't wait to wear and no longer ashamed to be 4 eyes. Haha! Thanks so much, definitely will be travelling into town more often to see the folks at Holborn!

Didn't realise the store had a basement floor. I think the guy who helped me decide and gave me good advice was called Raj, he was extremely helpful and found me my perfect pair of frames. Reviewing this here because opticians are franchises rather than chains, so it's worth knowing which specific ones are good. This one was very friendly and (more importantly) very efficient, which is basically what you want when you come into an opticians on your lunch break. They're clearly pretty used to people coming in with fairly limited time, because they were very good at helping filter out styles to try. I have a very strong prescription, so they were good at picking things that would work with my lenses, but also took on board my personal preferences. The ranges themselves are the same as any other Specsavers, same prices and so on.

Great store in Holborn. Went in on Saturday morning with my spectacles frame broken. Was asked two questions: did I get them at the Holborn store and what was my date of birth. The assistant found me a matching frame and within two minutes had transferred the existing lenses over. Charge: nothing. Faultless, friendly service from a consistently well-performing store.
