I have been coming to Uni Opticians for several years for my eye tests, frames, and aftercare. Unia Opticians is an excellent independent optician who offers a highly professional service and practical solutions for what one needs. The company’s customer service is excellent, and the entire team is consistently responsive, very helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention to thank Jo, who has recently gone above and beyond the usual high level of service to help to get my bifocal contact lenses just right. This business is the best, and come highly recommended.

I have come to this opticians a few times to sort a pair of specialist, colour-tinted glasses I bought somewhere else a while back. I have visual stress and had consistent trouble with the frame of these glasses which makes it difficult to be seen by the original optician. Jo has been really helpful ever since I came in asking for help with my glasses. They have been accommodating and attentive, always willing to offer me help and asking for nothing in return. I cannot recommend this friendly opticians enough. They have been an immense help for me.

Apparently ... 12 % of people wear glasses to see better. 88 % of people wear glasses to appear smarter. Luckily with 'Unia Opticians' one can do both - 100 % satisfaction guaranteed. I generally dislike changing doctors, opticians & hairdressers and have been exceedingly pleased with my old optician. Having said that I always thought it would be nice to have one's optician close just in case there is a problem. With this in mind I visited Unia - doubtful they would reach the high standard of my previous optician. ***Spoiler Alert***: They can! Their shop window has a modest display but inside one finds a huge array of frames in all colours, sizes with an abundance of expertise and helpfulness provided by Milly, Michael & Jo. A beautiful Tom-Ford-frame was quickly identified and could not be trumped - irrespective how much Milly tempted me. My 88 % inner desire to appear smarter was successfully met. Target achieved. Pugh! Now the important bit: the eye examination. Would Kinni meet my critical and high expectations? Would my questions be answered to my satisfaction? After all, too often we take good eyesight for granted and every couple of years remember to give eyes the respect and treatment they deserve. I spent an informative time with Kinni who was polite, thorough and knowledgeable. ... and before I knew it the frame plus varifocal lenses was ready for collection. In case you are still reading on and I have not lost you, then you will know by now that visiting Unia is a pleasure. Helpful staff are there to make your choice difficult and give you the finest of treatment every step of the process. Needless to say, Unia is Covid-secure to make you feel safe. This should not put you off. You can still remove your face mask and try as many frames as you want.

I have been coming to Unia for many years now, having previously worked nearby. This is an excellent independent optician, offering a highly professional service. I wear contact lenses, and the eyecare that Unia provide is always excellent. Their customer service is fantastic, they always go out of their way to provide help and advice. Although I now live and work outside London, for me it is still worth the effort to get into London to go to Unia, given the service they offer me.

We have been using Unia Opticians services since 2008. The whole team are so welcoming. Kinni is amazing with both children and adults. First time I took my son there, he did not want his eyes looked at, but Kinni patiently coaxed him into letting her carry out the necessary tests and now he has no problems having his eyes tested. My own needs have been professionally managed and even though we live outside London we would not want to go anywhere else. Jo is great at finding the correct frames to suit and there is never any pressure to purchase, but you do, because you know you’ve been given great advice and service. Getting the right lenses, size and comfortable frames is a doddle. Their latest range of Eco glasses offer magnetic sunglasses options - great for travelling - and good for the environment too.

I have had many problems over the years with my eyes and Unia have never failed me in their care or with their honesty and kindness. Superb customer care, highly recommended! I've worn glasses for over 30 years so you can imagine how many different opticians I've been to in that time! Unia stands head and shoulders above everyone, incredibly helpful, provides great advice, going above and beyond.

I have been coming to Unia Opticians since 2005, after needing some urgent advice for a badly bloodshot eye and Unia being the closest opticians to work. They were so friendly and helpful, totally professional and fully putting me at my ease, hence I decided there and then to leave my existing opticians and register with their practice. It is a real joy to visit them and there is almost a sense of anti-climax after my eye examinations knowing I am unlikely to go there again for another two years. They are no longer my local optician as our offices have unfortunately relocated to Stratford, plus I live in Sussex. However there is no way I would change, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Kinni, Jo and the rest of the team, and I look forward to visiting again when I next need my eyes examining.

You can pay less at the bigger optician "chains" but they will in no way match the professional service and dedication of the team at Unia.They take great care in making sure you get the best possible solution for your needs. I have recently had several appts to get my bifocal contact lense prescription just right, and when most other co's would have lost patience the team at Unia were relentless in ensuring I got the perfect solution. Absolutely lovely, charged me only £2 to fix up my glasses and they'd finished it literally within 3 mins of me walking through the door. Lovely service, great price, she even put in thread-lock and gave me advice on not messing up the screws despite my only being in there a few minutes. Great optician. Even saw my old frames in there for about £30 less than I'd paid for them

Grate experience at this opticians. They really helped me with my contact lenses, as I'm not very good at keeping or putting them in, but patience and helpful staffing worked a treat.
