I was really impressed by the service I received not only during my consultation but after. The optician anisa was so nice and listened so well. She was able to rectify all the problems I had with my current glasses. There was also a lovely girl called Sumaya who sat with me and even went through contact lens options and helped me compare with my current. I’ll definitely be getting them from there now. I left feeling very happy. I would highly recommend them, I can’t emphasise how amazing their customer service was.

Apart from the inicial difficult in getting an appointment, which caused me frustration, I can only applaud the service of the team on Upper Street. I visited VisionExpress in Angel for the first time yesterday for an eye test after relocating from another branch. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and professional, but I'd especially like to highlight how great Cynthia was who did my eye test. She put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable.

The first time I went to the store I didn't get a good feeling, everyone seemed to be busy, uncaring and some of the staff come across a bit rude. Then I decided to give them another try and book online an eye test which it turned out to be a very nice experience as a customer with a nice optician. I wanted to buy my glasses there but obviously the glasses pricing is much higher and not competitive compared to other opticians.

I went this morning to buy a new pair of sunglasses. I was served by Izabela, the store manager. She was absolutely brilliant and amazing. She helped me pick the right frame and suggested the right lens. I highly recommended this store opposite Angel Station. 😊

Upon entering I was immediately greeted with warmth, smiles and professionalism. I visited first time in June 2019, because I liked a frame I saw nowhere else locally. The staff were nice and I had a very patient, competent graduate trainee Salima do my eye test. I have severe astigmatism. When I collected my distance and reading spectacles my vision had unfortunately changed over 2 weeks. Salina tested me again to correct axis and had a lens re made, no cost. I have been very happy with my spectacles to date the vision is great and I wear them much more than all previous ones prescribed. I trust them.

I went into the Angel branch in a panic because my glasses were broken and I thought I’d have to buy new ones immediately. Two wonderful women helped me and sorted out the perfect temporary solution. I’m immensely grateful to them and would recommend Vision Express, and especially this branch, to anyone needed glasses. If you are looking for an optician then definitely choose this one. It’s been a long time since I have seen staff that are both friendly and efficient. They are really good and the customer service is outstanding. Aneesa had a lot of patience with me when choosing a contact lens that I would be comfortable with. She gave 2 weeks to try the different options and then I chose the best one. She didn’t have to give up so much of her time but did. Ikrla was very efficient when I arrived and make sure I was seen to immediately. His friendly and polite manner was so reassuring. They also have an amazing deal right now with getting a discount off the 2nd pair of glasses or lens. Highly recommend this store!

I’ve been wearing glasses for 25 years, since I was 6 and I’ve had many eye tests at several opticians. Yesterday, I received my first batch of contact lenses after having a routine check-up at Vision Express in Angel, a few weeks ago. Their dedication, care and customer service during my eye test was exemplary. Following suit, my appointment, yesterday, was equally as great. As I’ve never worn contacts before, I had a teaching session with Preet. She was kind, caring and incredibly patient throughout my time learning how to put pieces of plastic in my eye! She also gave me a thorough run-down of how to apply and care for the lenses. Similarly, she never wavered in her dedication in helping me, the customer. If I could give the store ten stars, I would. Not just for Preet’s actions but for the other staff members, too. You made a daunting experience feel like a light breeze AND you have given me a new sense of sight that I never thought I’d have. Thank you!

Excellent service, great optometrist, good help and advice. Really impressed. I had a routine eye test here and they helped me with variofocal contacts. After a few days trial they did a thorough check and made a small change to my prescription. They take time, listen, share advice, and I've never had such improved sight. Thanks.

Having moved work locations, this was the closest branch to visit and I'm glad I did. From the young lady who did the provisional tests to the technician carrying out the more detailed sight test, the staff were super friendly and took the time to talk through the best solution. Today I've done an eye test at this Vision Express shop and it has been the best eye test experience I've had in years. The optometrist called Nanki was very professional, considerate and friendly. She took her time to thoroughly check all aspects of my eye health and prescribed me new lenses that I feel much more comfortable in. I would definitely recommend this optometrist.

Conviniently located on Upper Street five minute walk from Angel tube station. Good selection of optical frames less variety of sunglasses. There is seating at the back of the store and a water cooler for those waiting to get their eye exam. Staff are super friendly and kind but after visiting close to six times, they are always rushed and slightly on edge. Their booking and entry system is inefficient leading to staff spending to much time staring at screens as opposed to talking to customers. Avoid Saturday and Sunday early afternoons unless you enjoy waiting for extended periods.

This is a great shop, and the best thing about it is that one of the members of staff - Ryan - is so knowledgeable about glasses and frames. IT's really difficult to find someone who has the relevant scientific background, and who can translate that knowledge to the question of how to fit a pair of specs to the face.
