Very competent and friendly staff at Vision express Swiss Cottage. Was experiencing floaters in my eyes. Their pre reg optometrist Lukshana was very good and experienced and did a thorough eye examination including the retinal scan. And ruled out everything. Shefali, their manager is very friendly and helpful and helped me select varifocal lenses for me. Overall a good experience! Thank you guys 😊

Sadly, Google won't permit me to give more stars. Wonderful friendly, polite, knowledgeable staff. I ALWAYS feel more than a customer. I am a person whose eyesight and general health is important to them. The place is well laid out and comfortable. It's more like a consultants waiting room than a shop. But, without the medical smell and that air of "we are doing you a favour" sort of haughtyness that some "specialists" have. It's a place where I feel I am known and valued. Intelligent, gentle suggestions that are made on the basis of what is right for me.... like not wasting my money on something that probably wouldn't be good for my eyes no matter how it might appease my ego. (Contacts) Or suggesting frames that will sit better on my nose and be more comfortable to wear. Will I go again? This firm and its staff both at Swiss cottage and high Holborn has become the firm I trust with my eyesight. I would be a blind fool to go anywhere else.

This is a specialist branch because Rohit can also specify all manner of complex lenses like Hybrids. You cant get that quality specification & recommendation for best optical lenses by cutting corners doing it yourself online. I will always go here for my needs, best service and outcome Ive ever had, & the staff are a professional joy to engage with. I went in with a free eye test voucher from Lenstore because I buy my contacts online. I was half expecting a hard sell for glasses, but no, I was just advised that I needed a new contact lens prescription, and they gave me some new ones to try free. I was also advised that I was wearing my lenses too long each day, which was causing my eyes to dry out. I went home and checked online and this advice tallied (I stay up late working on my computer and my eyes do get sore and red). So when I went back I said I would like a pair of glasses as well. Again, no hard sell for frames, just good friendly advice, and no rush. Also, as I was paying for them, they told me I qualified for a free extra pair. I hadn't known that in advance, so they could have not mentioned it. So all in all I am very happy with my experience at Vision Express Swiss Cottage. I saw the manager Rohit for my eye test and subsequent glasses advice, but dealt with other staff when collecting my glasses etc, and everyone was friendly and professional. Recommended.
