This place has the funkiest, coolest glasses which you cannot find anywhere else. The service is excellent and bespoke. Natalie has a brilliant eye and helped me find a shortlist of gorgeous glasses that both look great and fit me well. I have had trouble finding glasses that are both comfortable and stylish in the past. I feel very lucky to have found this gem of a shop and will be coming back to find a second pair soon.

I got my sunglasses lenses category upgraded. Natalie assisted me through the process, she listened carefully to what I had in mind, and guided me through the available options and the compromises that we could make to reach my end goal. She was very professional and passionate, she had already adjusted my frame to better fit my face length. It was hands down the best sunglasses alteration I have done so far: the end result was better than expected, both aesthetically and functionally. Luciano was very kind as well, it's always nice to hang around the shop with him, and he suggested a few optical related items that are very interesting. Thanks a lot guys 😁

Boy do I love my new glasses. My varifocals are a perfect fit and amazing quality. Natalie is a star, she has so much knowledge about eyewear technology and design and helped me choose the best lenses and frames for my face and tired eyeballs. So many beautiful designs to choose from. Everyone at the store is lovely and I would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the market for a stylish pair of spectacles. By far the coolest selection I have seen. Can’t wait to get a custom pair made at some point.

Super happy with my glasses and the service here. I browsed on a Saturday, usually a busy day for them, and not only never felt rushed, but Adam seemed to be having as much fun as I was finding frames to try on. I have a very narrow face, and can’t find glasses that fit unless I get kids glasses, and at 54 don’t really want Paw Patrol or Barbie! I found at least 5 pairs that not only fit but looked good too. The ones I chose are hand made and unique, and Natalie, who made them, fitted them for me perfectly. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Update Jan 2024: they've done it again! I absolutely love the team at Worshipful Spectacles... It's like finding a favourite hairdresser (though I'm still looking for that!)... I can't imagine going to anyone else! Natalie and Luciano just know what suits me and they always present me with a lot of beautiful options, including styles I wouldn't necessarily pick out myself - they're the best! I'll be back for another pair soon just for the joy of it! June 2021: I'm so happy to have found the Worshipful Little Shop of Spectacles! I've been meaning to get new glasses for ages, and I was browsing for sunglasses when Natalie made a beeline for me with some gorgeous frames that suited my face shape perfectly. She and Luciano were super patient as I ummed and ahhed about a selection of frames. They even helped me get them in time to wear for a wedding! I couldn't be happier with the glasses, or the services. The shop has a huge selection of vintage frames, all in excellent condition - a really unique selection. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Natalie and Matt have completed changed how I wear glasses and I can’t be more thankful of it. They understand how difficult for me to get a pair of spectacles off the shelves in high street stores coz of my nose bridge and the width of my face. Therefore the glasses they had in hand wouldn’t suit me and so I went for the bespoke service. Nat designed more than 15+ variations (all on wooden moulds) after our initiation covering what I liked and what occasions I would wear glasses for). I then selected the two or three that I liked and afterwards Nat put additional finesse and adjusted my nose bridge. Once I was happy with the mould, I then picked the frame colour. Three/four weeks after, Nat delivered two pairs of well-designed well-crafted glasses. They fit my wide face and Asian nose bridge perfectly. It is truly amazing what Nat and Matt have done to change how I wear glasses. If you struggle to find a pair of spectacles that suit you, Nat and Matt will help you!

I don't live close by but it was worth travelling across town to thanks to the fabulously unique selection of glasses, the incredible customer service and the staff knowledge and help.
