Went to a well known opticians on Saturday for my eye test, they wanted £150 for a pair of glasses (buy one get one free) plus £75 on each pair to thin my lenses down... so it would have been £300 total. Popped to Trafford Centre after hearing about Pop Specs, and I'll be honest, I can't fault them. Wide variety of frames from the traditional metal & plastic to the more colourful and trendy frames that I wish I could wear. Prices for the frames vary from £35-£55 dependant on style, and then it was an additional £20 to have my lenses thinned down to 1.67 with all the coatings too Being a -5.25 prescription in each eye, you have to go thinner. I had one pair made within 20 minutes but because of the price, I ended up buying 3 pairs. unfortunately they only had 1 set of lenses for my prescription available, so had to wait till Tuesday to collect. Would I have opted for some different style of frames if I had paid £300? No, it'd be the same as usual - black, rectangular plastic. But for £55 a pair it's worth a cheeky buy to have something different. Dan & his staff are extremely helpful, and if the frames don't suit you, they will tell you - which always help, rather than pushy sales staff after commission I will definitely be back for more

Went to Pop Specs on Thursday 30th December and bought a pair of glasses with prescription lenses. They are perfect and completed in under an hour. I would 100% recommend Pop Specs if you are looking for some glasses. The staff are so lovely and attentive, helping you choose the right frame. Thank you

Id like to give a big shout out and Kudos to Dan, Lina and the team at Pop Specs Trafford Centre. I first came across the company via my friend on Instagram and i thought lets check it out bearing in mind i live 5 mins from Trafford Centre. Brought my prescription along from 2021 which was 4.75 and 5 with my astigmatism and i need ultra thin lenses due to the strength of my prescription. Having reviewed on Instagram, i already seen several styles i liked and was keen on the transparent clear frame. Dan recommended the round transparent plastic frames and tried them on and they looked fabulous and cool on me if i do say so myself. The price of the glasses in general can range from £35 to £50, the frame and ultra thin lenses with anti glare cost all in price £55! I repeat £55 all in price and the thing was it was ready in 20 minutes for collection! Where can you go buying a pair of new specs and trendy latest fashion styles at £55 with an ultra thin 1.67 lenses (£20 for the Ultra thin 1.67 lenses!!). Dan and team were also great on advice on fitting glasses and understand everyones fittings are different due to shape of head and Dan got how to adjust arms to suit the fitting (very patience from Dan and the team - Thank you). Not just one pair, i went back 3 days later and purchased another pair half black and half clear frame with wooden and plastic arms. This pair was a little more as its Dan's best sellers and it was still only £70 all in with anti glare and ultra thin lenses. These were ready next day due to supply of Ultra thins but still within 24 hours and service was immaculate and great attention to detail and nothing is ever a concern in regards to tweaking the fitting to make sure its not too loose or too tight around the shape of my head. To sum up, Pop Specs for a big recommendation, I will be bring my GFs father to this place and my mother too :-) Thank you so much to Dan, Lina and the Team! Pop specs for quality, service, price and customer experience!

What a wonderful experience! Dan is so knowledgeable and completely approachable. My -9.75 prescription was certainly a challenge, but I was pleased every step of the way with my order and final product. I've been so used to paying £500+ for one pair of glasses. I think it's extortionate. I love how this personalised service allows people (even with astigmatism) to receive fashionable, trendy and even quirky frames, but without the high price tag. Thank you so much for your impeccable service, great prices and fast turn around. I couldn't be happier! I'll be back for future pairs, I've even convinced my partner to buy too! What a fantastic experience! The quickest and most thorough interaction I’ve ever had. John went through different types of frames with me and was giving me his personal opinion on what he thought was best, knowing that all the frames were the same price I knew he wasn’t trying to push for a sale. I chose my frame, I got blue light lenses popped in and I was done within 20 minutes, glasses on walking away happy. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dan, Lina, and staff are very welcoming and friendly. They chose a very trendy pair of glasses for me and I love it! Fabulous place to go for glasses. Both John and Christina professional and attentive. Try on as many pairs as you like to get the right ones for you. Very hard to come away with just one pair. Purchased 2 and collected them within the hour. Will definitely purchase my glasses here again in the future plus the 2 pairs I got cost less than 1 pair from my regular well known optician chain. I visited today Pop Specs for a new pair of glasses. I didn't know my exact prescription and also I didn't have any idea what type of frame I'm looking for. Olga and Joanna were there to help me identify my prescription from my old glasses. Also, they were so helpful when I had to choose the perfect frame for my style as I wanted to buy something more fun than my old glasses. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs a new pair of glasses, first of all for the welcoming and helpful environment from the staff and also for the great quality of frames😊
