Visited the week before Christmas and the staff were friendly and more than helpful on several occasions. An absolute credit to public services. Thank you.

Easy to get to and easy to use. Low level wall with direct access from car makes dumping easy as no stairs if gates. Most staff happy to help with what goes where. Only negative is during busy hours you may have to wait a while for area to clear or for the movement of rubbish with bulldozer.

It was busy, but isn't every recycling centre on. Saturday? My wife and I commented while there how clean and tidy it was. Considering its where we go to get rid of all of our rubbish, the staff look after it. Staff were also helpful when we asked where to put stuff and generally patient considering how busy it was. As far as recycling centres go, 5/5...but it's a recycling centre so don't go out of your way to make a day of it...

Just been with my brother to get rid of some old carpet. We were shown where to put it, and the chap was very helpful and friendly. We couldn't of wished for a better service.😁😁😷😷👍👍.

Very good experience today: Good Friday. Mostly things are fine here. I gave four stars, because there have been occasions when staff have asserted their authority, in completely nonsensical or tyranical ways; for example, they have walked over and shut the blue metal carboard-container, when I'm still putting carboard in it from out of my car parked at its side. I witnessed a man being told not to put his full and moderate sized cardboard box, into the general waste. He had to empty the box then put the cardboard in the cardboard container (assuming it is not randomly shut beforehand!) I put a wooden handled metal wok, in the metal area today. Should I have tried to snap off the wood first. Where are we drawing the line with such pedantries?

Quite a long queue but seemed well organised.

Getting rid of rubbish used to be an easy thing, not any more. I'm a builder and my customers have to pay for the rubbish I create to be removed but I still have personal waste. Sometimes I go to the tip in work clothes and I feel like a criminal. I think Suez (and others) are encouraging fly tipping.
