Very impressed with the service we received at Vision Express in Middleton Tesco. Mum and I were warmly greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff and the whole experience was excellent. The optician herself gave us both a very thorough examination and then we were back to the 2 ladies who helped us choose frames that suited us both. All in all, a very professional and enjoyable experience.

Pleasant and friendly staff. Clean and safe environment. Really good location with parking. Actual eye test was fully explained in clear terms by cheerful optician. Only negative was the choice of frames which I found to be rather boring.

I went for an eye test and buy new glasses. I was welcomed and dealt with by well presented knoweagable OpticalAssistant named Amir. The eye test which was very thorough was conducted by Siddique who then explained the results and recommended the type of lenses that would benefit me most. I would definately recommend them.

Had a pair of glass's priced at £39 when I picked and chose them but when they scanned were £59 and they told me I had to pay scan price despite th law that says in any store you have to let the customer pay the price as advertised then rectify your mistake.

After booking online for my first proper eye test at Tesco, I didn't know what to expect, but it was free, so couldn't complain anyway. I got there early, and was made to wait around 10 minutes before my first consultation, which included checking my eyes and peripheral vision with an activity involving lights. I was then sent to sit outside again for about 10 minutes, until the optician (Optometrist?) saw me. He was very friendly, probably friendlier than most of the other staff there, and tested my eyes and sorted out my prescription. I wasn't hassled into buying glasses from Tesco, or even into looking. I am concerned, however, that my prescription is too low, as the glasses I've bought elsewhere are not very strong (I was given a very low prescription). They work but not as well as I thought they would, but that's my only qualm with the service at all.
