Fantastic service! I made an emergency appointment as I work up the day before flying overseas on holiday with pain and blurred vision in one eye. They were able to fit me in quickly and I was seen promptly by a lovely optometrist who confirmed that I had a chemical burn on my eye which was probably due to some hair chemicals getting in my eye inadvertently the day before when the hairdresser was doing my hair. A second staff member came in (as I was upset) and they were both wonderfully kind and reassuring and I was given sound advice and eye drops to help the eye heal. I am typing this several days later with an eye that feels completely healed enjoying my holiday. I have a follow up appointment on my return and could not rate the service I received any higher. Fabulous and thank you Vision Express Milton Keynes.

Very friendly and really helpful. I had broken my glasses and was having difficulty with my spare pair. I needed to arrange for another pair very quickly. I went to my usual opticians (Specsavers) and they could not see me for about 6 weeks time. I instead called into Vision Express on the off-chance and recognising the need for me to get glasses quickly, went through their database and informed me within half an hour of me leaving the premises, of a cancellation the very next day. I attended and was seen by a very welcoming optician and all the tests were carried out very sensitively and with care. Lynne then helped me to get the right frames and went through all the costings in great detail - it was a pleasure to spend the time with her. The only reason I rate this as 4 instead of 5 was because on the peripheral vision test they did not have an eye-patch and I had to hold a tissue to my own eye so they could record how many light dots I could see with each eye. It was a bit awkward with having to press the button with the other hand at the same time. Other than that, this was a very good experience. If you have had problems with your glasses, then you should have gone to Vision Express!!

A very detailed examination. I particularly liked that the optician took the time to show me the retinal images and explain his findings. It was also good that, given my prescription had not changed much, he did not indulge in sales pressure to change my glasses at all.

Lady who assisted me with my new order for an upgrade right lens on my glasses was extremely helpful.I then decided to buy a pair of sun glasses and she helped me choose a really nice pair which she said suited me. Great service from all the staff. Optometrist explained everything so clearly and didn't rush. All faultless. However I was very disappointed that the onsite lab has been removed meaning I will be without my glasses for a week whilst the new prescription is fitted. The only way to avoid this is to buy new frames. I didn't because my current frames are fine. Feels like Vision Express has thrown away it's USP and this is the reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Not that impressed. I took my glasses back because a screw had fallen out and I had to superglue lense in to use glasses. I expected a refund and replacement glasses. NO, the gentleman in shop explained a screw is classed as a loose item and is not covered. Seeing as how a screw is a fixed item until it comes loose it is not a loose item. I had to pay for a new pair of glasses.

Well the eye test went well as did the in store service, I think the staff may have been a little disappointed when I produced my own Oakley frames which I asked them to fit new prescription lenses. We paid and handed over my frames, I’m not 100% if they said 8 to 10 days for them to be done and returned to store for collection , 2 days later I received a txt saying they’d be ready for collection between 5 and 8 july then on Saturday the 3rd I received another txt saying there is a slight delay and they would be ready on 15th to 18th of July , I then received 3 more txts in 2 days telling me the same thing so we have asked for our money back and more importantly the frames ( which I’m now concerned about) So not so good I’m afraid and I should’ve gone to specsavers.

This vision express has the best customer service I have ever received. The brilliant service is delivered by all the staff but in particular Jodie the Assistant Store Manager. She is absolutely brilliant and is always so patient, adaptable and kind. Couldn’t recommend this store more.

Used Vision Express before and been pleased with the service. This time I was very impressed with the Covid precautions. Staff had been vaccinated as they are classed as health workers. Everyone wore masks and all spectacle frames were electronically cleaned after they'd been touched. If you've been putting off visiting an optician, I'd say go ahead now.

Opthalmic service good. Dispensing problematic. System improvement needed so that whenever an order is taking longer than the targeted 2 weeks, it is automatically flagged up for shop staff to take the initiative to contact the customer and explain the delay. When a customer contacts the shop about an order, the receptionist should automatically check how old the order is, and if more than the target time, investigate and give the customer reasons. This should be rare enough for it to be done by the shop manager. I suspect that the lab may not be informing the shop as diligently as it should when a problem has arisen.

Took my son for his eye test, was greeted and shown in by Manager Chris, covid systems all in place. Staff all masked up polite, friendly, and very helpful. Optometrist excellent, and very thorough. The lovely Jodie helped to choose frames, and dispensed glasses for my son. Would highly recommend vision express.

I cannot speak for every Vision Express but as someone with severe mental health issues they have always treated me respect and dignity. If you know where I'm coming from you know what I mean. They have not not squandered the recent covid lockdowns, they have upgraded to he aesthetics of the store significantly, personally I preferred the main counteract the front rather than at Ty he back they gave now but their staff are respetuctful and very helpful.

Kyle at Vision Express Milton Keynes is a real asset. What he doesn’t know about Oakley prescription lenses isn’t worth knowing. What lenses suit conditions, suitability of frames and what is possible lens combination wise. Friendly, knowledgable and professional. Very happy.

On a monthly contact lens contract, and although pre-Covid have had a good experience in store, have not been back since. Strangely in the monthly direct debit service, they seem to think that there are 48 weeks in a year. I get a 12 week supply every 3 months. Do the math(s) as they say. I end up phoning up a week or two before my delivery for an "extra set" sometimes they arrive, sometimes they don't. Make my life easier Send me 54-56 weeks worth every year (to allow for inevitable losses/errors) that way I only have to go in when I need to for my eye health, and my contact lenses will just be there when I need them. With the hassle involved in a supposed care free service, I'm just looking at going to Costco/internet instead. Please try and keep a loyal 10+ year customer. You have 3 months.

Took a Specsavers prescription there December last year as I got discou t for glasses as my niece works at their store in Eastbourne. I had just got the prescription so hey said their was no need to re do it. Got my glasses and could e see a thing through them, couldn't get back to return them in the timescale required due to lock down, they told me not to worry and take them in when I could. So ,,, I went back today they were great. They managed to fit me in almost straight a away for a new eye test, which proved to be different to the specsavers one. The Optometrist was amazing he took his time, kept going back to double check I could see the difference in what I was seeing. I have ordered new glasses with the assurance if these are still not right they will work with me untill they get what I need.. I cannot reccommended this store enough .. thank you 😊

Never seen a company on Google reviews with so many negative reviews and descriptions of selling demo glasses, blood stains on the desk, rude staff, debatable knowledge etc. Surprised that there is absolutely no response from the team itself. I was pushed for free test vouchers from some website, though I have got the free vouchers, I am not sure I am going to go now, considering all the reviews here. I have given a balanced 3 stars, just out of my courtesy, as I do remember going here a long time ago and it did feel normal, nothing positive or negative.

I have been a customer of VE for three years. Yes glasses and lenses are perhaps a bit pricy but I have been very pleased with the eye tests and the quality of customer care whenever I asked for something to be fixed or changed. There are two members of staff in particular who were good; the first one is Lynne but the other I cannot remember her name (tall, young lady usually at the reception).
