First time for glasses for me so this was a new experience. I felt in very safe hands. Staff are experienced, efficient and helpful. The optician was thorough and kindly answered my questions. The glasses themselves after the assessment were available within 24hrs. I had been told normally it takes a couple of days which I would have also been fine with. Exceptional service. I will return and highly recommend especially if you don’t have so much experience with opticians.

I can thoroughly recommend Partridge Opticians from the first appointment right through to the fitting of my glasses their service was excellent and both professional and welcoming. I have worn glasses for over 60 years and in that time I have used private and franchised opticians with mixed experiences some good but more frequently downright appalling service especially from large franchised outlets. Partridge Opticians are a breath of fresh air and I will definitely be using them for all my future ophthalmic needs.

Excellent opticians. I have been a patient for over 20 years and have always received extremely professional and friendly service from the optometrists and all of the staff. I am extremely short-sighted and have various other complications and they have always gone the extra mile to find the best solution for me with both glasses and contact lenses. Although we moved away from Newport some time ago, we continue to travel there for eye tests as we have not found another optician offering the same level of service. I am also extremely impressed by their efforts to safeguard patients and staff during the current crisis.

I cannot fault this place after a poor experience at another local opticians. I was treated with respect and given a high quality test. Due to problems with health issues, my glasses were brought to me on the day they were delivered as my circumstances had changed and I couldn't collect.
