I have used different opticians in the past and have been left feeling less than satisfied with the service. This place is a breath of fresh air. With a faultless service you'll find hard to beat. The staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. All the latest testing equipment is here and you feel very well looked after. The range of glasses and lenses is superb and well laid out. I did have to wait two weeks for my glasses, but my prescription and glasses/lenses chosen did extend the wait. But it was worth it. Prices are very competitive and quality is assured. Highly recommended!

Just overall fantastic service. My appointment was running a little late, however I’m not a moaner like some people who moan about everything !! Everyone in there are so helpful, they are quick and efficient when dealing with you and take the time out to talk to you genuinely on a personal level. When I’ve had problems with my contacts they deal with it without any problems occurring. Also I think the chairs outside are a great idea, it’s not exactly a big specsavers and people do need to bare in mind… COVID is still around. The company are also protecting their employees, cut them some slack!! You would be waiting a lot longer if they were all on the sick. Blows my mind!!! Well done Team Spytty though, sometimes great service isn’t recognised enough

The dispenser has been fantastic trying to rectify my new glasses which were very poorly prepared. I had to pay an additional cost which I was prepared to do to get them corrected. Three trips in all to the shop and have given up trying to resolve the issue. The new glasses remain in their case and I have returned to my old glasses from another supplier.

My baby snapped my Hugo boss glasses. Called my branch of Specsavers and they said they would try to help me and see if they could fit my lens in another frame. They took the glasses from me and within 30 mins I was given a brand new Frame with my lenses in. The same Hugo Boss frame. Wow thank you so much for the birthday gift. ♥️👊🏽

First off, I’ve been using spec savers since 2010. Unfortunately due to an individual giving broken information, getting safety specs has been a disaster. I’d like to inform people who are in the same situation to try and get the information. If you have a choice of optician, Karish. This lovely gentleman cleared up all the nonsense and sorted out the problem. Karish thank you 🙏🏼

I was very impressed with my whole experience. I have never used Specsavers before, preferring to use a local optician. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the optometrist who saw me was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.

Well what can one say, the thing is Specsavers may be different from one place to another?? The Abergavenny do there best to help you out, and if you find your glasses are not filtered Wright, you take them back and it will be sorted when a staff member is free. l and very happy with the Abergavenny Specsavers.
