I came here today for an eye test and contact lens trial. My prescription had changed quite a bit so I picked a new pair of glasses too. I was very happy with the staff, very professional and helpful throughout the whole experience. Very good prices and very happy overall I will defiantly be using them from now on.

Very clean and comfortable store. Staff were so helpful and efficient. I told them I had to travel in a family emergency and they did everything they could to speed up my daughters' eye tests. The optometrist, Jet, was so kind and good with the children. Brilliant service.

I have been using specsavers now for several years., I cannot recommend them enough, I was having problems, they found I had a bleed behind my eye and within a few hours I had been see by a hospital consultant, then I had a virus which I did not know I had, again they optician wrote me a letter to take straight to the hospital, a few days later I had a phone call from specsavers to make sure I was ok. Recently advised to get an eye test by my GP, and booked in. I was offered a prompt test date and highly recommend the OCT scan with an eye test. As a result I have been referred and have now received a letter from my local hospital asking me to book in. All this within 1 week. Highly efficient and skilled staff ready to help at a moments notice. Staff were also exceptionally helpful when my daughter needed glasses 👓 and helped decided what suited her face and style.

Great, efficient and professional staff throughout. Following all government guidelines . Optometrist was so amazing, even thought he was inundated due to short staffing, Jude Edwards did not rush and made me feel comfortable, explaining all the changes that had occurred since my last appointment without judgement, as for the pandemic I had not attempted to make another appointment earlier, when I was supposed to last year. Now I am all sorted and just have to wait for my new glasses to arrive. Thank you all at specsavers.

Today I visited the store and was greeted by Natalie who helped my queries from the door and then invited me inside to choose a frame, Natalie was outstanding not only was she friendly & welcoming but she was professional and joyful throughout, she even went above and beyond looking out back what extra options were available for my needs! Outstanding! Once I made my choice of frame Natalie sat me down and along comes Ion, a really humble friendly chap who exuded the same high qualities as Natalie did! Ion made today an experience by going through everything we were doing with me ensuring I was up to speed at every step, even explaining different parts of my eyes which I didn't know! Overall I am amazed by the top levels of customer service that both Natalie & Ion gave today! Opticians with a difference, friendly and helpful staff, from my own experience they know the job very well and they have an excellent after sales service reputation. When the lens frame that I bought from Specsavers has a problem I was given a new replacement within 5 days free of any charge. I learnt they also deal in auditory too; though I have no experience of any sort on this. They are highly recommended.

Visited Specsavers Northampton on 31/12/2020, for my sight test, contact lenses health check and to select of pair of safety glasses for work purposes. So as you can see quite a lot to squeeze in to one visit to the store. Each member of staff that I engaged with could not of been more accommodating in these difficult times and restrictions we are all under. Went in to get two pairs of new glasses, having to book an appointment first. I choose the pair of glasses and told them I would like two of that same model...a week later I had my eye test, the two pairs of glasses where there kept apart for me, the glasses were ready in one hour...everything fast and efficient, very nice staff, will certainly keep coming back!

Technically and equipment- wise very good but compared to others very expensive and they keep pressing offers on 2 pairs. I can only wear 1 pair at a time and even with their discount, were still expensive.

I would recommend going here for an eye test. The optician was very knowledgeable and patient. She helped put me at ease. I was able to choose my glasses with the help of one of the kind assistants. The only downside is although it was half term the place was full of school kids at 4pm. I know that it is hard to take kids out of school so half terms are ideal but surely you have the whole day to get an appt, whilst people who work can only go after 3pm. A bit of consideration from parents would help. The kids were running around, screaming and just annoying. I acknowledge some parents work too so I fully understand them not having that time to take the kids, but other parents who are just inconsiderate need to think. If you do need to take them at that time, at least be considerate enough to understand that there are vulnerable, elderly or tired people around who have been at work all day so make sure your kids behave. That was the only let down, it was noisy.

My Son can not see without his glasses, you have helpped us massively and deserve to be recognised. You truely are our hero😊. Review done in 2019 - Son is blind in one eye and the staff here always make his visits calm and enjoyable for him. Staff are amazing, couldn't recommend them enough.
