After trying unsuccessfully to clear blocked ears with several different types of drops from the chemist, I knew I had to seek help. I came across Coleman Opticians. After reading favourable reviews, I booked an appointment online. I received a courtesy call soon after booking to confirm things which was nice. I got a friendly welcome on arrival and was seen before my appointment time. Clare did the procedure and was very reassuring. She explained a bit about how ears work when it comes to wax build-up, took a look in my ears, and detailed how the process works along with showing me the equipment. 15-20 minutes later, both ears we're clear, and my hearing was perfect again! The procedure is a little noisy and weird to start with. I didn't experience any discomfort, infact after i got over the fact someone was literally sucking the wax out of my ears I found it quite relaxing. The whole experience was great and can't recommend it enough. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coleman Opticians for the procedure.

I can not fault this place, I pay £5.25 a month and it's worth every penny! I broke my glasses today, went in their shop and expected a few days to wait for them to be repaired but the lovely lady fixed them straight away. Lovely friendly staff. Best opticians I've used.

An amazing opticians! Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff and always a pleasure to visit. Incredible range of glasses and knowledgeable staff to help you choose. Fantastic with everyone from children to elderly Just to add no idea which opticians the reviewer complaining about fit added but it certainly wasn't Coleman!! The staff go above and beyond to ensure you choose glasses that suit you and fit well. All glasses are fitted to you and you can return at any time, free of charge, to have them adjusted if you need. I cannot recommend Coleman highly enough and their staff are incredibly helpful and amazing people! Even in these strange times their customer service is absolutely fantastic.

They’re the best opticians ever!!! They were so kind and helpful when my 2 year old came for her appointment and we found out she needed glasses. It was something I was quite apprehensive about as she’s so young but they were brilliant. I’m so glad for their help as she loves wearing them and is always saying she can see better with them on :). And despite her being a bit upset by the eye drops on her first appointment she clearly likes going because she keeps wanting to go back 😂 I couldn’t recommend them as opticians more! And I’ll definitely be back when I need a new prescription myself 😁

Outstanding friendly and professional service. Today was my first sight test with Coleman Opticians and I have to say, it’s easy to see why they have won so many awards - very much deserved. Really thorough examination, including a 3D eye scan to check the retina and optic nerve. I’ve never had that done before, so that was very reassuring. Chose my new glasses from a great range to suit all tastes and budgets. Looking forward to collecting them in a couple of weeks. Very happy customer.

In 40 years of wearing glasses I can honestly say that the team at Coleman provided the best glasses buying experience I have had the pleasure to go through. Firstly prescribing me the glasses that I needed (as opposed to expensive ones that I didn't) and providing me with frames that fitted properly. Communication was brilliant and to top it all off it all came at a price that didn't make me feel like I'd had my pants pulled down! It was a 2 hour round trip for me to their shop and I can honestly say it was worth every minute! It's the first time in 40 years that I have walked away feeling that I have received great value, well done Coleman!

I had an appointment today as I was concerned about my eye , it wasn’t right ( blurry / foggy ) the optician I saw ( DR Michael hope ) was brilliant ! He spent so much time with me checking my eye scans and I felt really well looked after , and wrote me a referral there and then , also the young lady who greeted me and did the scans of my eyes and the young lady who talked to me after , we’re both really lovely too , very good service and definitely recommend 🙂

First time I've been here for my eye test and lens, (they fitted them into my current frames), and I will certainly be going back. Kindness and professional all the way through from the eye test and fitting of glasses. You do have to pay for the eye test but the equipment is first class and well worth it.
