A. H.The home of the funkiest glasses, coolest optician and most helpful staff team ever. Great for me as I have extra needs which they cater for beautifully. Currently rocking some supercool starsky and hutch esque style frames but with warm light lenses and guess what the world looks kinder to me, true!
M. V.We were recommended to Jeff for contact lenses for our son who has high myopia, his vision was not 100% with his glasses he had, and he wanted to try contact lenses. When Jeff put the lenses in for the first time it was a very special moment for us all, our son was looking around the room at his hands. The team were really patient with the process of him learning to put them in and out.
Our son wears glasses over his lenses most of the day for myopia control, these also give our son better vision, which with his high prescription is amazing. He can take these off when he wants to play with his mates, enjoy sports etc.
The best thing we every did, our son is a different boy.

They made trying on new glasses and fitting contact lenses a joy. They don’t hurry you and want you to feel comfortable and happy with your choices. The care I received here compared with high street opticians was professional and stellar. You can tell this is a boutique specialist: they really know their stuff. Never have I been happier with a glasses purchase. Only problem now is that I can’t stop wanting more! Would 100% recommend this retailer: an amazing experience. C.Having worn Nikon varifocals for many years I was a little wary switching to another brand (Oculus specialises in Seiko lenses) but I could have saved myself the worry as my new lenses from here are equally , if not better, than other lenses I have had in the past and at a fraction of the cost! I have a high prescription and I am really impressed with how thin my Seiko lenses have been made also the special coatings which are really helping with night time driving.
I have been a glasses wearer for most of my life and have found the service here to be second to none, the owner Jeff and all of the other staff were so friendly, helpful and informative. If you are looking for a really good opticians look no further !
P. H.Our family have been with Oculus for a very long time indeed and can't rate them high enough in every aspect of their service. Nothing is too much trouble and their depth of knowledge and expertise is second to non.I have just picked up my new spectacles today and enjoying getting use them, vast improvement in my sight if you have any problems with your sight then speak to Jeff and the team. Five stars not enough even with the slightly doggy football team support!
J. B.I had an emergency appointment at Oculus following problems with my vision - turned out to be a rotated lens in my glasses. Nevertheless I had every test available to make sure everything was indeed okay with my eyes.
Having seen the amazing range of glasses I decided to buy a couple of pairs. I had intended to do this post lockdown anyway. The service was impeccable. Rather than have rows and rows of boring glasses to look through I was presented with a carefully curated range of amazing styles and it was extremely easy to make my choices.
The glasses were ready in just over a week (with a Bank Holiday weekend in the middle) and I had a second appointment to make sure that they fitted correctly. The aftercare package which comes with the purchase is very generous; check ups on the glasses, cleaning fluid etc. I couldn't be more pleased to find such a welcoming and professional opticians.
