Amazing customer service, lots of staff to help but did not feel rushed at any point. Optometrist was lovely and so easy to talk to. Picked up glasses yesterday with no delay fit and prescription are absolutely perfect, got a half price ticket so going back in a couple a weeks for a pair of sunglasses. Will always be happy to come back to specsavers for my eye health needs.

Daphne the optician had a very professional manner about her and I felt very confident that she was going to do a very accurate test on my eyes, which she subsequently did. Lara then did a scan and wasn't very happy with the result so showed the result of the test to Daphne who very discretely took me out of hearing range of all the other customers and told me that I not only had the start of cataracts but also that there was something more serious on my retina. She said she was going to refer me to the hospital so that the problem wouldn't get worse and possibly cause me to go blind if it isn't treated ! Daphne , Lara and the receptionist Kelly were so pleasant and very competent at their respective jobs. They are all a huge credit to Specsavers.

Really good service provided when going through the various eye test procedures. I would have given this 5 stars.But unfortunately the fitting service was not up to your normal standard. The young man who saw to me and my husband seemed indifferent. I normally sit down for the fitting, but the young man stood behind the high rise counter and did not suggest i sit down and carried on with the fitting with me standing up. Not good enough! Both my husband and i spent quite a lot of hard earned money (£700 approx)and came away very disappointed with the service provided.

All the staff I spoke to were friendly. I wasn't waiting around for long at all. The optician (Praya Patel) was happy to answer questions and was very helpful and the guy who helped me choose and order my frames (Gurkaran) was kind, patient and professional. Better than other branches of specsavers I've been to with a decent selection of frames. :)

I attended this branch of Spec Savers last week and I was seen by Optometrist Bradley, for eye test and consultation. I also had a scan on my eyes. I was dealt with a high standard of professionalism I had never experienced before and was given information about my eyes/eyesight I had not known and had never been told about in terms I could understand, and never in a patronising way. I was able to discuss with Bradley options available to me, and was treated throughout the consultation in a polite and caring way. I am so grateful I have had this experience with Bradley and Spec Savers, I feel so confident now on going ahead with further treatment with the referral to another health care organisation. I would also like to mention the young lady, who's name I'm afraid I am unable to recall, who was extremly helpful. All staff displayed customer service that was never false, but given with an interest and caring attitude towards me as a customer. I am so grateful to Bradley and his colleague, and want to express my thanks to them for the superb treatment I received at Spec Savers.

Have been using this branch for several years and always satisfied with the service, the staff are always friendly and put you at your ease. Paid to have the oct scan, so glad I did ,had a bleed in the back of the eye, referred to GP and have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Eye tests are so important, a way of life for me as I've been wearing glasses for 56years. Specsavers also referred me to have cataract surgery, find them very efficient and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The way they have set up the system works very well. Had my eye tested and then had a trial with contact . Really good service with friendly staff. When I came back to pick up my glasses all ran very smoothly. I picked them up from the front door when I got home and tried they on they fit fine but the lens on both pairs where very dirty. After losing my glasses 2 days ago in Morrisons car park, my husband managed to find them last night in a pretty poor state. The frame was bent, scratched and one of the lenses had popped out. I believed they were beyond repair and was very despondent at having to pay for another pair of glasses considering they were only a few months old. However, I popped down to Specsavers today to ask if there was anything they could do. An hour later and I was delivered of my glasses - they had put the lenses into a new frame and didn't charge me a penny! This is INCREDIBLE service and they have made my day!!! We have used this shop for over 30 years and been very happy with the service, not last week, kept waiting 3/4 of an hour to be seen, to many people booked in with not enough Opticians to see them, hence not enough seats to sit on. The staff were lovely ( not there fault). But what has happened to this shop this year, seriously thinking of going else where for next sight test. Recently purchased a pair of specs here and had a check up. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. My specs cost me £25 and the eye check up was £25 which was paid for by my place of employment. All in a very pleasant appointment and the glasses were ready in 1hour. I have always had good, friendly service here. Honestly, the biggest attraction is the constant offer of 'buy one get one free'. Though, if you need 2 different types of glasses (EG: reading and driving) you have to pay £39 for the second pair. That is still much cheaper than normal. Their eye tests are in depth and they are very helpful.

I have been visiting this branch of specsavers for well over a decade now and its safe to say im definitely more than satisfied with my experiences with them whever it be from my tests to picking up my glasses, Its just a shame that it can sometimes be difficult to phone the store directly and sometimes you may be waiting for quite a while to be seen. I feel as though that my eye tests are always thorough and the optician is always very nice and answers all of my questions in a way I understand as well as they genuinely care about my eyesight. I love that when selecting your new glasses you will have a member of staff to always help you and offer advice and explain the pricing clear to you if you have an NHS voucher but Its very annoying that you cannot pay a deposit or pay upon collection anymore unfortunately. Definitely will be coming back here for many sight tests and glasses again for sure as long as I'm living in Norwich Super! :D

Very busy, seem to be more staff on shop floor than customers. Sight test seemed very quick but was told this was because of tech updates. Was handed round 3 or 4 staff to help choose and order my specs, all pleasant enough despite chaotic environment. Glasses arrived on time, not entirely sure prescription is quite right. In future I might get my sight test elsewhere, but come here to get glasses if they have ones I like. As usual, special offers are not so special~don't come here just for them!

The only downside is that there is no lift to the first floor for easy disabled and pushchair access. Apparently they do still provide the same services downstairs to those unable to go upstairs.

I was a sceptic when I first went here many years ago, having previously only ever used "proper" opticians. Simply, they excel in every respect. In particular, I needed an emergency appointment last year and obtained one very quickly. Suraj diagnosed a retinal vein occlusion and, within half an hour, I was seeing a specialist at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. They provide a highly Covid-19-secure service at the branch, and their home-visit scheme is a boon for less-mobile customers like my Mum.

The choice of glasses can be dependant on how busy there so avoid peak times or choose your glasses at a quieter time. Prices can vary depending on how complex your choice.

Reception Staff I found to be unhelpful and talk down to their customers based on my experience. I have given three stars as I could not find any fault with the optician. The only thing is perhaps the reception staff should have more respect for customers and not to come across as arrogant. Reception staff gets nil points.

Had eye test and received glasses within the space of a week. Arrived just before my test, and was asked to complete a peripheral vision check. Afterwards had a five minute wait and saw the optician who gave me my prescription. An assistant then came in who showed me round the glasses at the price point I was looking for rather than try and oversell me more expensive glasses. He waited for me to make my mind up then took me over to a station to have the measurements taken, I paid and was on my way. On collection I arrived with no preset appointment, was booked in, sat down and immediately called back up again to collect my glasses. I didn't need any adjustments so paid and left. Overall very good experience and will be using them in the future.

I have recently visited Specsavers in White Lion St Norwich for the first time. My first impression was the amount of staff dotted around all ready to help customers with a smile and a friendly greeting. I had an appointment for 13.50 and was seen on time. My eye test proved i was in need of some reading glasses so I was promptly taken downstairs with my prescription where i was handed over to a very nice young man to show me what range of frames i could choose from, and because of the extensive range it only took me about 10 minutes to choose and I was then told they would be ready 3 days later. There wasn't one member of staff who looked unhappy in their job or stressed and they all seemed to know what they were talking about. A big mixture of male and female staff of all ages who all worked very well together and provided an excellent service. I would highly recommend Specavers.

usually use boots but liked some frames in Specsavers so orderd new and went for fitting. at the fitting I said that the varifocal was set to high in the big lenses and I was told you will get used to it.. I have had varifocal from boots for 3 years and no problem, anyway I had to wear glasses off the bridge of my nose to be able to use the new glasses. I went back and saw a different assistant and she was awesome she recognised the issue that my old glasses from boots not only had a wider area for varifocal lense but they were set below their standard height. she 're measured my old glasses and applied that to my new glasses and sent them off to be adjusted and they are now Good, I will say I will be going to boots next time at even though I paid for the maximum reading area to be included in my specs it is 50% smaller than my boot specs. This is the story of my experience.

Yet another business that claim to offer budget products and services. Remember this: Nothing is for free! I have end up paying for the eye test, the glasses, Screen reflection etc. Final bill £189! Not very transparent. They're sending the wrong messages to people. Mind you that most that are using their services are the ones with a tighter budget with lack of funds and not necesary using Spacsavers by choice. Service met expectations, is just unexpected items on the bill that have not been clearly explained intentionally or not, and when faced with it was a bit too late to turn around.
