I took my mum for her appointment at the breast X-ray unit today ,I was Very please with the service.From reception very polite staff and welcoming.
My mum doesn't speak English properly she understand French,the Radiographer was very patient and understanding and even trying her knowledge in French language to communicate with mum so that she can feel comfortable for the X-ray .Thank you kindly for your good service to the nation.Wish all the best in your Job.

Blue badge parking out front. Nice little café for drinks and snacks. Toilets, water fountains all available. Audiology services, breast screening and eye screening all available here. Can be contacted by phone or email.

Audiology visit 13/12/2019 + previous visit for investigation and assessment. Both times could not have been better. Seen exactly on time, disabled parking available, most wonderful kind treatment, best hearing aids, explained everything so clearly. I have very unhappy associations with RWH (not as a patient) to do with one person I knew long time ago - hence I felt anxious and distressed. The Audiologist gave me time and was the most wonderfully kind and caring person. She made such a difference. I was also given the highest standard of treatment and best provision of hearing aids. I am so grateful, moved to tears. We must save our NHS!

Mostly brilliant service with only one (major) letdown. Audiologist was, as always, competent, professional and polite, as were the front of house receptionist staff- top stuff all around. Only (major) let down was my initial experience with the telephone receptionist when I called up to book an appointment. Very rude attitude, and determined to be right in saying I should be seeing an audiologist every 4 months. As a service user since I was 7 ( am now 47), I told her this was not the case for me (I replace my own hearing aid tubing and have a steady even (not degenerative) hearing loss so have always been told to just come as, and when, I have a need/problem (and this was confirmed at my appointment with the audiologist) but this lady refused to listen, telling me off for not having been for a number of years, confirmed appointment time, again said I should come every 4 months, thanked me for my call(!!) and hung up. Left me very angry at her condescending tone and I strongly suggest this lady undertakes retraining in customer services as, at the moment, her attitude is a let down to an otherwise exemplary service and damaging as she was my first point of contact in this instance, I worry how her attitude could affect an elderly client who has not got my 40 years experience of this (usual) jewel in the NHS crown. Please take action.

Ropewalk house is the NHS audiology service for Nottingham. Appointments need to be made initially through your GP. l didn't have to wait long for an appointment and on the three occasions I went I was seen within a few minutes of arriving. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly and the service I received was excellent. Highly recommended, the NHS at its best.
