Z. N.I was served by 5 employees. I can't decide which was more helpful, friendly, welcoming, and nice. They were all professionals, direct to the point, happy to help and answer questions.
I left with a big smile, which hasn't been the case for long time.
The only thing is I couldn't find something I liked and the company doesn't glaze existing glasses unless bought from them.
G. C.Due to a medical issue, I was unable to collect my glasses. Contacted Spec Savers team and explained the situation. My glasses were sent out by courier to my home address, arriving next day at no extra expense. Excellent service, in house as well. Thank-you.

I’ve been a contact lens wearer for 10+ years and used Specsavers throughout. However I always had pain when wearing them for long periods. I’d been for many lens checkups throughout the years but could never find a solution and just accepted the fact.
Last week I saw Alisha who noticed my current lenses fitted too tightly and that my prescription was too high. She found me a better brand of lenses which were much more comfortable to wear, better for my eye health and are already a massive improvement! She’s professional and extremely knowledgeable! Specsavers was a very clean and organized place! The staff were super nice and made sure to take care of any concerns. I was able to get my eyes checked after three years and voiced my concerns over my eye health and they checked that too on the spot! They were very respectful and not pushy at all when I told them I did not want to purchase their glasses and was going elsewhere. There was no red tape and everything was very straightforward. I would definitely go again!

W.Had to take my 13 year old daughter yesterday, very efficient and took great care until it came to ordering the frames, my daughter needs her lens to be thinned, depending on how much you want the lens thinned its either £49.99 or £69.99. I had no cash or card on me so had to re book the appointment for another day, felt very embarrassed as quite a few people where there around us and was looking and listening. Maybe you should do this in private?! Other wise good service!

I had to wait almost an hour longer for my eye test (apparently due to an emergency with their equipment), however the staff kept me updated and were very apologetic about the situation. In the end, they decided not to charge me for the eye test at all due to the wait, which took me by surprise and made the wait worth it. I was really satisfied by the quality of service provided by your staff. Will definitely be coming back here again.

You can try on frames but you put the ones you try in a basket and they disinfect before putting them back out. Staff wore masks and were very good about sanitising everything, as well as being friendly!

I hadn't had my eyes tested in a really long time and felt a bit nervous (silly, I know) but all the staff were informative and chatty. Even though they were busy I didn't feel like I had to wait long and they even tested my hearing for free. When I went back to collect my classes they even did something so they didn't keep on falling off my face. Every single member of staff I spoke to were so professional and everyone says how much they like my glasses (they're from Specsavers own range!) Thank you and your wonderful team!

Their customer service was excellent including sourcing my discontinued frame from the West Bridgeford store & arranging my new glasses to be delivered when ready.

C. O. (.Receptionists were very approachable. We were seen to quickly. I love that everyone was professional. I had my eye test done smoothly, and had a free contact lens trial as well. My optical advisor was very patient with me, as I had difficulty fitting in my lenses. The optometrist for my contact lenses I felt was rude though (blonde, slim lady), as she was saying sorry to my optical advisor about teaching me to fit in my lenses in my presence. I am Asian and it's considerably difficult to get the lenses in as my eyes were smaller than average. I somehow felt discriminated against and didn't feel welcome. But overall good experience, although the place was very busy and rushed, but this is because there are so many people waiting to get seen to. I would give 5 stars if not for the experience with the optometrist.

The quality of the information from the result was better than you would get in hospital and quicker.

They do offer hearing tests too but they for some reason forgot to do mine.
Not as many glasses frames selection as I would of liked found it very limiting and boring.
They do have a toilet which is good news for the time you are in there, though anyone in a motorised wheelchair would struggle to get in it as they have put a desk near the door opening.

a. m.3 star for staffs and how easy they make the entire check up easy if you book an appointment. But extremely disappointed with their collection of frames and they never let you know you can just leave with your test results. They have got pathetic collection there.

Areeba did the retinal photography. However, I feel she rushed me through this. I may be wrong, but I work in retail and thought she may have been being timed by an area manager sat close by.
Areeba was kind and lovely but I did feel rushed. I'll only know if the prescription is correct when I collect my glasses.
Ergun was the last person I saw. Luckily, my husband was there as Ergun didn't recommend the anti glare, my husband had to mention it. Again, friendly but felt rushed. In all, I felt my husband was far better looked after and given far more time than I was. If my glasses aren't right I will go elsewhere. Also, although I left my email, I was never sent an email to do the survey.

J.Wasn't happy with Specsavers in relation to a pair of designer frames that had disintegrated over a period of less than 3 years...frames and glasses had cost me nearly £500 so I expected better ...the ends that fit around the ears had rotted away exposing bare wire that was cutting into my skin...originally I was also disappointed in the explanation and reasons given to me by the deputy manager in relation to these faulty frames, but to her credit she did contact me and tried to solve the issue over the phone following my previous and more critical review ...sadly frame wasn't replaced but luckily I found a pair online and Specsavers took the lenses from my old pair of glasses and put them into the new frames which I appreciated.
They have restored my faith a bit and the lady who looked after me today was good...still not impressed by the designer frames and sheer poor quality of them as I expected more from Tommy Hilfiger frames .
But the staff at Specsavers are ok and the place is always busy so they must be doing something right.
So from my original review where I gave Specsavers 1 star...i have now given them 4 for helping me out a bit ...Tommy Hilfiger frames I would give a minus 5 if I could tho .(Well ...the ones I had at least).
So there you are.
