J. B.Classy choice of frames, knowledgeable and caring staff. I’ve been a customer for at least 30 years. It is not your supermarket-style high-street chain but something much better. Currently (Aug 2022) being refurbished but still open upstairs.
N. W.I can't speak to delays, but the staff here are excellent. In particular, Morgan has been very knowledgeable and helpful during the three years I've been getting my glasses at Conway PB. For example, she noticed micro-fractures in my frames about a year ago (which I did not know where there), and sent them to the manufacturer for a replacement on my behalf. I also got my first eye appointment there last month and it was a great experience - the optometrist is very experienced. I can highly recommend.
M. O.What fantastic staff! I broke my glasses and had no spare pair, I needed a quick replacement pair - tried vision express but no joy. Came in to Conway’s and the two lovely ladies could not have been more helpful. Took my broken glasses and fitted my existing lenses to new frames in less than 30 minutes, and the cost was far less than I anticipated. Proper customer service and a real eagerness to help, thank you so much!

They also have a very good eye for the right pair of specs - It's hard choosing the right frames, but their patience knows no bounds when it comes to helping indecisive customers like me. I can't recommend Conway Opticians highly enough.

J. R. O.I have been using Conway's for many years now, and I think the eye care is extremely good. I suspect the negative reviews arise because 'front of house' can be a bit chaotic though it is very friendly. I get the impression they are working on the efficiency.
