Went in looking for prescription sunglasses and was helped instantly, even swapped lens out of other sun glasses to see how they would look. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions nothing was too much of an issue. Thanks to Chelsie for all your help. Can’t wait for my new sunglasses now!

Having had an eye test, I was easily able to order new glasses. The advice and help I received from Kloe was very professional and thorough in making sure my new glasses were just right. When they arrived, Wahida made sure they fitted properly. She was also able to give me some good advice regarding upgrading my reading glasses. It was a pleasure to be served by these ladies. I am delighted with the level of care I have received.

Just to say I have had consistently good and attentive care from this opticians, and yesterday was so relieved to have my damaged spectacles professionally bent back into perfect condition, all done in a few minutes. I haven’t been to the opticians in years (over 8 years!). Im so glad I chose to and managed to find an appointment for an eye examination at vision express because the process could not have been any more smoother! I was well informed of everything going on with my Vision by the doctor from start to finish. He even took the time to explain to me what the diagnosis meant - even though I passed all the tests. Thank you Doctor, very professional and knowledgeable!

Excellent service at Vision Express. Minor repairs done to existing glasses at no cost, then seen promptly at my appointment time and given very thorough contact lens and eye examinations by Mr Alpert. Finally I was given plenty of time and friendly expert advice choosing new glasses. Couldn’t fault any of the whole experience!

Myself and my husband had appointments for eye tests. Can’t recommend this branch enough. We both had different gentlemen carrying out our examinations, but we both agree, they were both amazing. Everything was explained to us in detail, all our questions were answered in full. I hope that a special mention is allowed and that it will reach the named person... ‘Chelsie’ helped us both decide on our new glasses. She was friendly, professional and so charming. Her customer care was absolutely fantastic, we would have no hesitation in asking for her by name, or recommending her to friends and family. 10/10 for the whole experience.

I was at Vision Express in Oxford city centre and served by a lady called Alicia. She is a very nice and professional lady. I went there with a difficult problem in that my spectacles kept steaming up under normal use which did not happen with my previous glasses. She explained to me what the problems were and offered to put it right without any charges, ie, replacing the bifocal lenses as well as some coatings. It was very sweet of her and she only works at weekends. Thumb up to Alicia. Vision Express in Oxford city centre has the latest equipments for testing the eyes. I was really impressed and there is a big, big VOW factor. The experience is like coming out of Stone Age into the Space age modern world.

Lovely staff both in person and over the phone. I needed a regular eye exam check-up and some new glasses, the shop was busy but the process was so quick and easy. Kayleigh is an absolute rock star and she has helped me a few times over the last couple of years, she is so friendly and helpful - so much so that I travel into this location despite having a local Vision Express. I ended up with great looking glasses (including a pair sunnies that Kayleigh had to search for through other locations) and lovely compliments from the staff on my way out...what else can you ask for! 100% Will be returning for the next exam and getting Kayleigh to help me with another set of glasses :)

My first visit since 2019 so had no idea how it would be post COVID lockdown. Excellent service - I felt safe, was very well looked after and Jo went out of her way to make sure that she offered me a choice of frames in addition to the ones that I had chosen. I can't recommend Oxford Vision Express highly enough so if you're hesitating about having your eye test - go for it and book an appointment with them.

As opticians they are excellent, but some staff were not following the new covid regulations sufficiently, and people were wandering in and out of the store. Face masks are now mandatory, but wearing them under the nose is wrong.

The staff knowledge and customer service was excellent. The optician and shop floor staff were all amazing. My prescription had changed which the optician explain how this may have happened and what it meant, in terms I could understand. Then when choosing my new glasses the shop floor staff were great and gave a lot of advice. My new glasses arrived exactly on time and I am very happy with them.

The optician (Ciara) was very friendly and gave a detailed examination and was happy to talk about the findings and show the results. Amazing place, I've been with the corn market vision express (it was in the West gate) for over 25 years and you can't fault them. Brilliant helpful staff, I've been in for emergency situations, contact lens fittings, eyes tests, glasses and everyone has been helpful lovely and polite throughout the years, they have gone out of their way to be amazing. I give them five big stars wish I could give them more!!!

Brilliant customer service. They took my prescription, gave useful impartial advice on style and practicality and I was very pleased with my choices. I popped into because i bashed my glasses and lost part of the nose piece. The lady on the desk was lovely and took my glasses and said she could fix (at my own risk) she helped me find my seat when i was struggling to see with out my glasses. The other staff were friendly and glasses came back quickly, cleaned and fixed. The staff here are a credit to humanity being friendly welcoming and helpful.

UNFAIRLY UNDERRATED! I usually don't write any reviews, but I always look at them before choosing a service/product. Given how negative all the reviews here are, I would probably never choose to go to Vision Express. However, I have got a voucher from Lenstore for a free eye examination and contact lenses consultation there, so decided to go, despite I had my eyesight checked just 3 months ago at a different optician. The main reason I went again was that I was trying out new contact lenses, and wanted a professional assessment of their fit. I must say the place is being unfairly underrated! No-one was rude to me, I waited just a couple of minutes before being seen by an optician, and the optician himself was highly professional. Not only he carefully checked and confirmed that new lenses fit well, but he has actually improved my (very recent!) prescription somewhat, tweaking the power on one of my eyes a little bit and improving the clarity of vision. I was, of course, asked if wanted to purchase any glasses (which I didn't), but nobody was actively trying to sell me stuff all the time, as some other reviewers describe. Overall, I was very satisfied, and felt a need to write this review given how unfair (imho) other reviewers are to Vision Express.

Being a year-on-year customer of the regular eye test service I would like to add my support for this branch, its staff and its approach to that fast-vanishing concept of Customer Service. I also remember Mr Gregory but now he has retired am relieved to find that the Vision Express service has survived both his departure and a physical move to Queens Street. Having an urgent requirement for a Civil Aviation Authority eye examination and report I approached the front desk, to my amazement and relief it was all sorted out without fuss within 24 hours including the physical exam. Having been into the one at Oxford city centre numerous times now I'm sure I've met all if not most of the staff there and by far Jo is the best there though they're all so tentative to needs and style preferences, really bubbly, great conversations and a welcoming way about them, the whole team there are great.

I had my vision checked by Lawrence (Tang Guo Wei) today, and the service was top notch! He is professional and friendly. He displayed a strong technical knowledge in his area of expertise, but never confusing with technical jargons. He made sure that his prescription was clear and easily understood.
