I had my eye test, chose my new frame and collected my new spectacles within a couple of days. Great service and super quick at the same time. The members of staff were very helpful and pleasant whilst helping me with all my needs. Super!

I was asked by my GP to attend a MECS optician. They didn't have any available appointments and made the point to check on the nearby stores too. Upon explaining further why I needed the appointment one of the optometrists was very helpful and kind. She reviewed my eye then and there and prescribed some eye drops. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. I was very relieved with the information that she provided and I'm thankful that she helped me without the appointment.

Visited today 23rd. Sept 2022,to make an urgent appointment as advised by my oncology care team. Couldn't get one until next Wednesday 28th. Sept. 2022, but was informed that if a cancellation became available then they would contact me. By 1.00 pm the phone rang and there was a cancellation for 2.05 pm, was I interested. For sure I was. Saw Eilin for all the usual tests, then Emily the opthalmologist. Both absolutely excellent, kind and caring. Special thanks to Andy who arranged it all. He was very kind and so helpful. Between the three of them they made it a pleasant experience. Thank you all.

While I wanted to thank the team at Specsavers Marsh Mills, for their excellent service and professionalism. The whim came upon me to share an image of the back of my eye for educational purposes. You can't cut corners with your eyes, and I found everything about the testing process, quick fitting and hassle free checkout just to my liking. The price... Went here today with my son,he has alot of sensory issues and autism.We have been to town store before and so busy he hates eye tests.The staff at this store were so brilliant with him,honestly it couldn't have gone any better.We took a sunday appointment and it was empty.My son did have a lot of anxiety,but the staff that treated him put him so at ease he was so happy that he thought he was playing a game on one of the machines at the end.I really recommend this store and think I may even swap to here as well.Thank you to all ladies at this store your fabulous 🙂

An arm of my VDU glasses came off this afternoon. I am an occupational health nurse and work on a helpdesk. Took them into specsavers in Sainsbury, Marsh Millls, Plymouth at 4.30. A very nice young lady took them, put a new screw in one side, tightened the other side and cleaned them. All in 10 minutes and ready for work tomorrow. You cannot ask for better service than that. I would like to say a big thank you

I can't rate the service received at Specsavers Marshmills enough after an awful experience at their Armanda Way Specsavers. Especially to Karen, Charlotte, Andy and Becky. I felt like I was more than just a number, offer was helped on frames and it just felt that I mattered. Thank you 😊

Had my eyes tested found something not quite right with my eyes sent me for a referral for a second opinion to The Royal Eye Infirmary. Thankyou Specsavers for your wonderful service.

Very pleased with the service, it might not be the largest branch, but still plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and courteous, I had my glasses re-lensed as the frames were still in perfect condition, my wife had two pairs, one for reading and one for general use, she had the general use ones fitted with reactolite lenses so they can double up as sun glasses, and my mum had new glasses, but as her prescription was strong they 'shaved' the lenses down to fit in the frames she picked. This was all done in a week turn around service, 12pm Monday, to the following 12pm Monday. We're all extremely pleased with our new glasses, and would highly recommend this branch of Specsavers.

I was in desperate need of some contact lenses on a visit to Plymouth. The brilliant customer service I received helped me get a set by ringing my branch and providing me with some lensrs. The store manager was excellent and efficient.

This is a small unit within Sainsbury's supermarket. As a result the range is a bit limited but it is also generally quieter than their larger store. Staff are friendly and helpful.
