Great experience, would recommend. I have had an eye test, and have since had follow up phone calls regarding my contact lenses trial. Everyone I've spoken to has been really helpful and nice. I have a few more appointments left, but would recommend to anyone. To get the receipt/invoice to be signed off for work was easy to get and the emailed version was very useful for this.

I've been with Leightons opticians for many years,and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience with them. I had an appointment today,and as always, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had an ultimate eye test because of a mole at the back of one of my eyes,and I came away feeling reassured. Thankyou!

Great experience getting an eye test, buying glasses, trialing contact lenses and buying them here. The staff are very good and attentive. Big thanks to Kash, one of the opticians, he’s made my first time experience with contact lenses so easy and good - that was after I had a horrible experience with that at Specsavers so this really made a difference. They care about their clients here and I hope to stay with Leightons for a long time.

Having used specsavers, vision express and boots opticians since I was 6yrs old I can say that I have had the best experience at Leightons Reading. They are incredibly friendly and professional, willing to go above and beyond to take care of you from the moment you walk in, which is a big deal for someone with anxiety. I went in by myself for a dispensing appointment and one of the staff took me through all the things I need to consider and helped to pick out some frames, without putting any pressure on me to choose. It was the quickest I have ever chosen frames! Whilst they aren’t the cheapest, everything else for me outweighs this.

Excellent experience at Leightons, the optician really put me at ease, carefully explaining everything that she did and had full optic scan free of charge as I was a customer whose previous opticians had been taken over by Leightons. The chap who then went through my options for glasses was also very professional and absolutely no hard sell on what I wanted. Glasses were collected a week later and fitted beautifully. Great customer service, covid secure, would really recommend.

I can not recommend them highly enough. After many years of going to Specsavers, I needed an urgent appointment after eye surgery which they were not able to give me so I contacted Leightons. I explained my situation to the person at the appointment booking centre and she gave me an appointment as quickly as she could but then called back later when they had a cancellation and offered it to me, so I was seen within 3 days (remarkable, given the COVID-19 situation). When I visited the branch for my eye test, I was greeted warmly by the staff and impressed by how pleasant and comfortable the surroundings were as I waited for my eye test. My appointment was with Sanna, the Optometrist, and she was incredibly kind, reassuring and patient with me throughout the eye test, answering all of my questions and also helping me to understand the changes in my eye and what that would mean for me in the future. I felt so well cared for and valued as a customer, something which is quite rate these days but so appreciated, especially when you are concerned about your eyesight. Sanna was calm, always ready to listen to and answer my questions and so knowledgeable, as well as reassuring. Once my eye test was completed, I was handed over to Albert who took me through the various options available to me for different lenses. Once again, I was looked after so well and Albert is professional but also a fun character so it was a very pleasant experience. I have since found out that I will need further surgery and Sanna responded so quickly when I asked for a copy of my report and reminded me that if I needed further help that she was there for me. I was quite disappointed when I was unable to get an appointment at Specsavers after being with them for many years but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I found Leightons and the kindness, as well as the professionalism, of Sanna, Albert and Ewa. Thank you all so much!

I was very satisfied with the whole experience of my eyesight test and the selection of new glasses and sunglasses thanks to the care I had from the staff at the Reading branch of Leighton Opticians.

I am disappointed with my new glasses especially having paid out £700 for them including eye test etc. When looking at my laptop my vision is less good than with my previous varifocals. Also when watching TV I've noticed that my vision in my left eye is not so clear. I was also sold the protoctive screen to avoid glare and was then told that I needed to also buy a spray to keep them clean. I should have been told this before.

I have been attending the Leightons Opticians in Reading for the past few years now for my regular check ups, and I have always received a very good service from them, recently l have been back to the practice during the Covid-19 pandemic, and while l was at the reception area l was received and welcomed by the member of staff Ewa who had excellent level of customer service, she did make sure that l feel safe and comfortable whilst l was in waiting are waiting to see the optician, shortly Andrew who is the optician came and got me from the waiting area and took me to the examination room for a full examination in which he attended me with full of care and making sure that l do get the service l deserved as a patient, there after l was passed to David who helped me with the choices of frames and billing service in which he was very helpful. The Health and Safety of the patients and the staff, are utmost importance to them as a clinic. I will to any one. And thanks for your service to all of you. Andrew F Omari

So helpful, funny and friendly. The assistant stood with me for at least half an hour trying to pick some frames for my sunglasses. My prescription is odd so I’m restricted to certain frames but I was shown lots of different options and they didn’t make me feel rushed which is a rarity as I’m so indecisive! The service you get in the opticians is great and everyone is really friendly. However I have seen an increase in receiving mailings to my home address. Yesterday I received a letter saying you hadn't seen me in a while and introducing me to the new branch in Reading (which I have been to 3 times)! I could do withou this.
