I recently had bilateral Cataract surgery in September and October 2021 and I am very pleased with the results. My Consultant Mr Aris Kontantopoulous conducted my whole experience professionally and all explanations were clear and reassuring. The running commentary during the operation was helpful and reassuring. All my experience has been very satisfactory and positive. My follow up consultation was carried out with the same professionalism and reassurance. All the staff at the hospital were helpful and kind. Thank you!

I wasn't exactly frightened at the prospect of having laser treatment to deal with the problem in my eyes. I was, however, just a little apprehensive until I met my consultant, Mr Aris Konstantopoulos. Then I knew that I was in safe hands and that definitely proved to be the case. He carefully examined the back of my eyes to ascertain the extent of the problem, drops, blink blink and gave me a prescription to collect drops from the pharmacy for use after the procedure. Mr Konstantopoulos called me in again, positioned my head, warned me of a pinging sound and the procedure was over very quickly and certainly painlessly. He told me I would see more 'floaters' than usual for a time. Mr Konstantopoulos was reassuring, kind and oh so efficient. Thank you. My vision improved almost immediately and I was confident to take the car out the next day and I can read again.
