Used Leightons for a number of years & always had excellent service. Great selection of glasses & recent visit was to replace my sunglasses warn for driving etc. I'd had my Raybans for a number of years & were so pleased as still had the same retro model. I had the replacement in a week, I was so pleased, won't go anywhere else .....

Very friendly and professional optician. I had a full eye test and she was extremely competent, approachable and made me comfortable. They are a family run business and they even had a food collection area which means that they care about their community. They were also always talking to all their patients without rushing them. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service would 100% recommend, was entirely covid safe for the duration, was my first eye test in a long time, told to go by hospital regarding health issues, kept me calm and informed throughout. Had a very thorough eye test, and two new pairs of glasses. The service is good and the staff helpful. Managed to bend one pair of glasses and they straightened them out as soon as I went in. they also have a great selection of glasses - pricey, but very good.

Thank you for your constant care. I decided to not replace my glasses just yet. The eye clinic advised that my sight is good after the cataract surgery. I was relieved to hear this because I have spent all I have to help needy people here in Ukraine, where I am very busy helping orphans and poor families. Eye testing thorough and efficient.- very good But your offered price for complex, high-powered (12+ dioptre) lenses is out of proportion. I obtain good quality lenses to my prescription elsewhere - for a *third* of your offered price. Oh dear!

I would highly recommend Leightons to any and everyone. I have been returning to Leightons for many years now and, as a direct result of a check-up by Leightons Southampton my sight was saved. After an examination, they advised me to go along to A&E immediately, which I did. My eye condition was so serious, I was operated on within a few weeks. I was advised that without such prompt action from, initially, Leightons, I would indeed have lost my sight. So a BIG thank you to Leightons Southampton.
