100% positive experience. This. Is my First time experience in specsavers store in Hanley and it Won't be me last that's for sure.... I went instore to book my eye test and I got seen to straight away.. my appointment had been made for under 7days later. I attended my appointment on the day and I didn't have to wait at all... The staff are VERY Polite, very helpful and very understanding and they also give you all the time you need... The store as also a excellent selection and a Wide Rage of Frames... I rate this place and the staff 101% excellent... "MUST ALSO WEAR A FACE MASK"

The staff in the Hanley branch are so lovely and helped me with my decision on the most suitable lenses for my glasses. I was anxious about having varifocals, but a few weeks on and I’m almost used to them. It’s great being able to read without my eyes blurring. Looking forward to picking my sunglasses next!

After a none C-19 illness my vision had altered a lot. Once I was well enough to go out to Specsavers they fitted me in and gave my eyes a thorough examination as well as the eye tests. Now the joys of being my size is very few if any of the frames in stock at any of the opticians I've used over the past 32 years are big enough, this time Specsavers Hanley came to the rescue and I had 2 pairs of these Timberland frames 1 for distance and 1 for reading. A very pleasant visit a chap called Stefan spent over 5 minutes just going through all the offers to see what was the best deal for me as both pairs have anti glare and the distance pair has photochromic lenses fitted. Not cheap but it never is, great service and I'd highly recommend a visit if ur needing glasses/contact lenses and/or a eye test. They also offer a home visit test service for those who for different reasons can't go out or travel.

Visited the Hanley branch on Friday with average expectations as I am used to visiting the Tunstall branch. Upon arrival the shop was buzzing with life, with many assistants to support each individual If needed. I was greeted by a lovely assistant who took my details and ran some initial testing. It was great to see this member of staff worked there for 15+ years which gave me reassurance that the staff here were appreciate and looked after. The lady was very professional and kind. With no waiting time I was seen by the optician. A young, welcoming gentleman man. He automatically put me at ease and explained every step, I ask a 1000 questions about the technology why and how! The gentleman was very informative and went into lots of detail on my health care and how to support me best. After the decision to slightly up my prescription I picked some lovely frames. Off the obtician's advice I was on the search for some sunglasses. As I couldn't see any that I liked I was made aware that I had a month to make this decision. Which was great. Overall the shop was of a great layout with plenty to choose from, helpful staff all around and greatly skilled obtician's. A great well done to such an amazing store!

Covers majority of eye care needs. Easy to book appointments online and on the phone. On my visit there was a longer wait for the eye test, but not too bad sand a thorough test for the high street. Decent range of glasses with prices as you'd expect ranging from value to designer. Often offers on 2for1 and discounted tests. They use an app on a tablet to try and match styles to your face shape but it's a bit too gimmicky for my liking. Always staff available to try and help you and very quick turn around on glasses, usually within a few hours.

I went for an appointment today up Hanley and was seen by Sonia jhangra. She was a very welcoming and I felt very at ease. Before I knew it an hour had passed and I was introduced to Sandra to help me choose my frames. I chose my new glasses and was asked when I wanted to collect I asked for the same day and got told to come back at half four. When I returned my glasses were ready thank you to all staff for you're brilliant customer services

Wow, I never knew tests and choosing glasses were so in depth nowadays! Specsavers have looked after me impeccablely, I can't fault them at all. The detail that they went into about my eyes was very reassuring, as was the knowledge of the various benefits of the different types of lenses available to me, for this I saw a member of staff by the name of Heather, at the Hanley branch, she not only went into great detail about the lenses, but also took the time to make sure that the frames that I had chosen would be a perfect match for both myself and the lenses.
