Husband and I went Thursday for eye tests , staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish I got the young ladies name who sorted out both of our glasses but she was lovely and even enjoyed a laugh and a joke with us , Dame Edna glasses is all I'm going to say . (Not on the young lady i might add )

I have used Vision Express in Swindon for a very long time and I find everybody there to be very helpful and they give a good customer experience as they do not rush you into making a decision straight away, they make sure you are happy first before going ahead. They have a good selection of frames to choose from as well as contact lenses which I am still thinking about getting.

The optician did a fantastic job of the eye test. The actual reception at the store was somewhat less impressive. I arrived 7minutes early for my appointment and was quite curtly told to come back when the store was open. A better service would have been to offer me a seat whilst I wait. I was going to buy some frames, but opted to go elsewhere for this reason.

Excellent service throughout. Very helpful and methodical in their approach. They are full of enthusiasm in ascertaining any problems you may have. A very caring, friendly and and professional team to both my wife and I. We will certainly visit again for our next eye tests.

Easy to book online and optician was very good. I went in with a vision issue which came on suddenly, so wasn’t sure if caused by eyesight issue or not. Recommended varifocals. Chose frame and was measured etc. then queried if I should wait for the further medical tests for my condition as optician said wasn’t caused by the degradation in my eyesight. Told to buy the glasses and see if helps.. I got a test for tracking progress which was updated the next day saying there has been a delay with my glasses, and a week later still says the same and to contact local store I have tried 14 times to date to call the store, each time with no answer. So can’t really say much more. My vision has now cleared up and can see no issue, hoping to speak to someone soon to see what’s happening

Another fantastic experiance in the vision express store in Swindon town center. I was served by Saba who was fantastic in helping me get a new prescription put in to my current glasses as well as help me pick out some prescription sun glasses for when I’m driving. It was £315 well spent and enjoyed her service! Highly recommend!

Excellent staff and excellent service. The only challenge is the prices are too high compared to Specsavers etc. Specsavers do not charge extra for taking a photograph of the back of the eye, it is part of the eye test but Vision Express charges £10 for it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the pricing.

At a recent appointment for eye test I visited the Regent Street branch. Staff were very efficient keeping distances and moving customers around the shop as necessary. Plenty of sanitiser available and all wore face coverings. Staff and ophthalmologist were very caring and professional and i would not hesitate in recommending this store

I had the first appointment on Bank Holiday Monday; the shop was quiet. There was sanitizer on hand and all the staff were wearing masks. The equipment was clean and plenty of shields in place when you need to be close to the optician.

My family have used Swindon Vision Express for at least 15 years. I cannot complain about any service we have had along the way. Choosing glasses, when that's going to be your 'look' probably for a couple of years, sound advice, based on understanding of your prescription on lenses is crucial! We hace never had reason to complain.

Usually go specsavers but thought id give vision Express a go. Service and exam.was good enough. However the glasses are by far the worst ive ever owned, ive never know a pair of lenses to have so much glare and reflection in them and also there very difficult to clean and get smear free. My old glasses are alot better. Disappointed.
